Is that all there is? Look closer….

Moths, Poppies and the Moon can carry darker meanings of death and loss; for many with a disability every day is a battle with or against their own body and situations. The path at times can seem full of thorns to trap and tangle. Every step forward is a fierce battle and knowing that is the first step to understanding a warrior. 

But we all have a story woven from our experiences, we all desire connection and acceptance for who we truly are not our situation alone. 

This woman is strong and proud, with challenges past and likely more to come. She is beautiful and fierce inside and out. 

Not a victim or hero on a pedestal.

Not a chair. 

Not an object of casual curiosity quickly dismissed of value.  
 
A woman. Just her. 

Nothing more, nothing less.

We are pleased to announce the birth of a healthy, bouncing baby Teia, as of the 20th of March 2022. 

Time to celebrate the amazing teamwork from a group of talented people dedicated to the ideal of a decentralised marketplace and a home.

Freedom of Imagination Series: No 1

My outside is a prison, a cage of rapacious pain that threatens to swallow me whole. But deep within I hold a secret place of calm. I dive deep and for a moment I am immersed in the sensations, smells and sounds of a quiet pool at dusk. I breathe in perfumed floral scents as a playful breeze and crystal-clear water caresses and cradles. The suns warmth slowly fades, and a collective sigh is felt as day shift cedes control to night. In that magical moment a deep, calming stillness exists and it is there that my chains are broken. 
My imagination is my freedom and in that moment I am limitless.
