Musical counterpoint is to me an abstraction of the layered, intertwining rhythms of every activity we carry on in our lives. With a global tempo typically set in days, we fit all sorts of temporal structures where our joys and fears live and play out over the span of our lives. This series is a metaphorical transposition of the musical counterpoint into a visual space, sometimes with repeating patterns, sometimes with broken structures, sometimes isolated notes / hours / souls.

A ghost is seen hovering around the temple. Although the gender of ghosts is generally vague, this ghost sends out a masculine energy. He appears to be angry about something, as his smooth skin casts a bright red color. Upon his presence, the temple's ambiance has turned into a shade reminiscent of that of a Tiffany Rose, and the sacred waters below have shifted into a moonlit mauve hue. The atmosphere feels bright and light, which could symbolize the mindfulness that exists around you and your ghost. It appears the ghost has a limb or bone that may require your attention: his left hand and forearm. This could be where your strength comes from. Anger can be a powerful thing if well channeled.
