Sangria

A study exploring the fine line between a Glutton and a Gourmet.
Glutton(noun) : An excessively greedy eater.
Gourmet(noun) : A connoisseur of good food; a person with a discerning palate.

Relationships, once stripped off the rose-tinted glasses, laid bare, reveal the quality of the dynamic.
The roles played by the individual lovers in a union.

I wanted to explore this theme from two perspectives.
1. A lover in a state of comfort and complete surrender, giving themselves 
   to be devoured. Heart, Mind and Body.
2. A lover in a state of being controlled, having their strings pulled, being 
    consumed more than they wish to be. Mind, Body and Heart.

She goes within seeking stillness,
A journey of quiet contemplation,
To find that she's looking into a mirror.
Grounded yet flowing,
Observing, absorbing, floating,
She's home.

There's a rabbit foot for luck, so your journey here is blessed.

The Burrow Membership Pass

A study of play.  
2022.

Life can be broken down into a series of lessons.  
These aren't necessarily good or bad, but they are inevitable.  
We always have a choice though.  
Ignore the lessons and go around in circles  
or  
Deep dive and embrace them, master them.  
The latter usually results in a shift;  
Lessons turn into play  
and  
Life turns into your playground.


Seen here, is a girl submerged in a state of play, completely surrendering herself.  
The metallic sheen on her skin symbolises her resilience while her bunny ears show her sense of playfulness.  
She is surrounded by hard covers representing lessons learnt. 
Some were difficult, some are mastered and some even cherished.  
The flora and the flamingos bring about a sense of lushness, a life lived and truly experienced.  
Finally, the Easter eggs and my beloved moonmen, ever present, ever watchful.

According to German folklore, all living creatures have a spirit double who is invisible but identical to the living individual.
These second selves are perceived as being the spiritual opposite or negative of their human counterparts.

This Goddess explores the concept of the Doppelganger being present within oneself.
Her dualistic nature.
Her inner Light and Shadow, coexisting.
Knotted together.
