This series is the result of my moving from the digital to the physical in opposition to what many do.  
It is possible to experience it as an acoustic concert and that is where the title of this series comes from, which brings together the abstract works that are part of it.

         Slipping,
into a smooth surface without any control.
The fear, the abrasions. Where will I go?

Slipping,
No longer being able to look up but only down.
Reclining in the fetal position

Slipping,
and not noticing the footholds that appear
Because I keep my eyes closed

Scivolare

I tried to experiment with the use of a black canvas as a background to see how the different colours reacted. Geometric elements continue to be a constant in my work.

I have always wondered whether purple brings bad luck. I like it as a colour and have been using it a lot recently. Here I have built up palettes and I continue to use geometric elements as symbols of order in chaos.

I WISH       

On a day where nothing changes and where nothing will change
       everything flows as always with muffled noises in the background including the heartbeat.       
The vibrations in the pocket create only fake hopes
       but then again there are no expectations.       
Enjoying the wind of change       
for a moment was a fleeting pleasure.       
They are only seconds and all the little big gestures are missing       
because I don't feel the tiny ones.       
Everything is reduced to a little green bubble on a screen
       that despite the high definition does not qualify anything.
       I wish I could see you again before it's tomorrow.       
I wish I could still hold you before tomorrow.       
I wish, I wish and a thousand other wishes.

Episodes that I have longed for and that never came true.

FREE AND TIED       

Everything is like a circle       
with no beginning and no end
       and immediately my conscience surrenders
       passing from hope, through dream
       to what can never be.       
It will never be except for held intents       
and I encage them in unpleasant thoughts.       
We have different goals or maybe not       
just different paths that flows parallel
       meeting each other after hundreds of kilometers.       
C'est la vie c'est un peu comme mourir.
       I'll look for you, you'll look for me but we'll never find ourselves.
       The cursed time of the never keeps us free and tied.       
Let's meet one more time totally in one night.
       Where you can fill me and kill me as many times as you want.

Alea Iacta Est

The Way is inspired by Mauro Staccioli's Piramide - 38° parallelo and created in 2010.
It is a work that captures sunlight through a long slit in the surface, storing within its geometric interior the light reflections from zenith to sunset.

What struck me, however, is one particular detail: the completely dark tunnel that takes you inside the pyramid and symbolises the passage from darkness to light.
I symbolised it with the black curves by feeling the path taken to get to the heart of the pyramid.

The Way

I think a lot. I'm often someone who thinks too much.
Painting is what allows me to find my balance and each canvas contains a fragment of my soul.

The collector can claim the original canvas.

Antithesis is a work that aspires to provoke deep and visceral emotions, more related to the unconscious than to rationality, taking the observer on a journey of exploration of the inner self.
The chaos and energy that emerge from the work arouse feelings of restlessness, tension and emotional turbulence.

The mix of black, red and white, symbols of chaos and energy, arises as a conflicting emotional response between passion, anger or urgency, a sense of oppression and detachment as a pause to breathe.

It is the result of my perpetual inner conflict between repressed and expressed emotions, between calm and agitation. 

The freedom I enjoy in the strokes and the absence of recognisable forms give space to emotional subjectivity, where everyone can perceive different feelings according to their mood and feel their antithesis.

Hidden fragments emerge through a pattern of signs and colours, revealing veiled and disordered truths. Each layer reveals a fragment of an emotional enigma, as if the past resurfaced in a form that is never really complete.
