Glacier-coloured cuts through the landscape create gently curved three-dimensional surfaces and an optical flicker that encourages viewers to take different perspectives.
This perception of landscape implies an educational achievement. in the history of painting, the imagery of landscapes has always gone beyond the technical image. From the very beginning, it was a visual interpretation of the experience of nature. 
The “neutrality” of the camera in mountain photography was initially considered an obstacle. In their artistic practice, MDMM combine both moments in an idiosyncratic way.
Snowy landscapes, glacier areas, and high alpine mountain ranges are the subject of experimental geography. 
Through their minimalistic and structural imaging techniques, the artists shift the focus of conventional landscape perception.
