Fear Or Courage

This is a photograph of "Peregrinus", an outdoor performance in Tehran, Iran, by KTO-Theater - a Polish theater group - written by T. S. Eliot.

I was moving, running, jumping, and even lying on the floor while photographing this performance. It's a very exciting and different experience,  unlike shooting in a theater where you have to sit still and shoot in silence. Of course, the contrast of the light also created a special attraction.

The fact is that I did not pay attention to the story at all. I paid more attention to the reaction of the audience. I was interested in the frames where the actors and the audience were together.

When you look at these big heads, do you know what the people looking at them are thinking?

Darakeh is a beautiful area in the north of Tehran, near Evin and Velenjak. It is a popular hiking destination that offers scenic views of lush gardens, a gushing river, and a pleasant climate. Darakeh is also home to many traditional and modern restaurants and cafes, where you can enjoy delicious local dishes such as kebab and dizi.

Here is Ferdous Garden, an area in the north of Tehran, an old and beautiful building whose area is decorated with giant colored eggs.  These are one of the symbols of the Haft Sin. Happy Nowruz !

Chehel Minbari is one of the customs that is performed in different cities of Iran, especially in Khorramabad on the day of Tasu'a. (the ninth day of Muharram)
Early in the morning, the women and girls (sometimes men) with bare feet and covered faces and fasting of silence, start walking in the city. They light their candles in 40 houses and put a sugar cube there. In the 40th house, they take a sugar cube from there in the hope that their needs will be met in the coming year.
