And in the end, I am where I want to be—alive,
Part of the earth, sustaining the life I could live.

I stand still in the middle of everything and everyone,
And say,

Even though I felt the torment of life, I lived.
And maybe tomorrow, the pain accumulated will take shape and grow into a beautiful tree,

For you and I to see, and perhaps sit beneath its leaves.

I Am Where I Want To Be

And today, I am born again.

From ashes to flesh,

And perhaps something more.

I was a soul but a seed;

I wasn’t whole to proceed.

Yet in a world so big but so small in action, I was fed,

Watered enough to grow, seen enough to know.

If today could be bright, then what shall stop tomorrow to be of light?

It is a melody that I know; if you dance to the rhythm, you shall grow.

As I took my mask off,

I realized I did not have an identity. I was whoever I was with, whoever I walked along with.

Lost in so many faces, there were no paths to trace me back.

I was once you, and at some point, them.

As they say, light lays behind every dark curtain,
Upon acceptance I saw it, I felt it and I conquered.
A passage only reached by walking the darkest of paths,
A passage only seen through pain,
A passage reached through feeling the pain.

And here I am, I stand above all.

Everything I touched became the universe.
From a delicate rose to a celestial star.
From familiar knowledge to an elusive knowledge.
Either it be a curse OR blessing, I have reached one step beyond man.

I see things in things that people don’t see.
I feel things in things that people don’t feel.
A touch that brings the core of reality.
A touch that screams billions of years far from me and everything.
A touch that began with a bang.
A touch that was the birth of man.

Might be the baby my wife gave birth to, or the kitten my cat Luna begot,

Perhaps the tomato seed I planted in our garden, or the blueberry I planted at the side of the road.

Perhaps everything died and I stayed alive with a single seed enough to revive and begin a whole life.

Either way, I hold the seed of life.
