The artwork looks at visually interpreting the Nava Nidhis (nine divine treasures) of Kubera- the God of Wealth. Each Nidhi is associated with a guardian Spirit. The Nidhis are largely unexplained and remain unknown. Except for its mention in Hanuman Chalisa verse 31. Which reads 
Ashta siddhi nava nidhi ke dātā, asa bara dīnha jānakī mātā
(Mother Sita granted you a boon to become the bestower of 8 Siddhis (supernatural powers) and 9 Nidhis (divine treasures))
When materialized, these are symbols that are interpreted as
Mahapadma(great lotus flower), Padma(lotus flower), Shankha(Conch), Makara(Crocodile), Kachchhapa(Tortoise), Kumud(precious stone), Kunda(Jasmine flower), Neel(Sapphire), Kharva(fire cups)
The graphic places Hanuman with the nine Nidhis granted by Mother Sita circling around itself to provide a strong visual narrative of the verse in Hanuman Chalisa and tries to provide an insight into the idea of Nava Nidhi.

Reviving Ancient Playmetries 01 – Chaturanga aka Chess

An investigation to revive the ancient geometries of play that originated in Indian subcontinent with caddforart (Artworks done on CAD - A technical drafting tool)
Chaturanga (Sanskrit: चतुरङ्ग;) is an ancient Indian strategy game that is theorized to be the ancestor of chess. A myth on Chaturanga affirms that it was invented by Mandodari- Ravana’s wife. 
In Sanskrit the word Chaturanga literally means 'having four limbs’. In Mahabharata it stands for army. The game of Chaturanga basically portrays the Indian military strategy and refers to divisions of an army, namely elephantry, chariotry, cavalry and infantry. Chess was designed for an ashtāpada ("having eight feet", i.e. an 8×8 squared board).

Drawing over the artwork by Tjo and visualizing a dichotomy of thoughts. One being the totem of death and the other a promise of sunlight. The beauty and the hideous, the prey and the predator, the life and the death and lying in between all the disparities. Isnt this what stories are made of? 
Of beautiful contraries and similarities. 

To be or not to be ROguE

To look outside is typical, to look within, a testament to one's spirituality. But to look at one's inner beliefs by keeping in mind ones outer facade is a journey to self growth. We often go harsh on ourselves and try to be as tough within as we project to other people.
Maybe reversing this perspective isn't all that bad as we are made to believe by this society. Maybe we should all try to be a little soft, a little kind and all in all a little easy with ourselves.
This artwork looks at the idea of inside out, self reflection and shifting perspectives. It is an interpretation of "Temple of Leah" captured brilliantly by Bharat Lakhnotra.
