It was a hot and hazy afternoon on April 20th, and the air was thick with the deep scent of marijuana smoke.

Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant.

The bass reverberated through the club as strobe lights flashed in sync with the beat. The air was thick with smoke and sweat.

Loud, Dark Techno filled the air, vibrating through her body with intensity. She closed her eyes and let the rhythm take over, moving with the crowd as one entity; synchronised as one with the music.

Neon lights illuminated her futuristic leather outfit, casting an otherworldly glow on her dreadlocks and heeled thigh-length boots.
Strobe lights flashed and smoke machines filled the air with a hazy mist. She lost herself in the music, feeling its energy coursing through her veins. Moving fluidly to its rhythm, she hypnotized those around her while losing herself in that moment.

It was a place where she could be free; where nothing outside mattered - just her and the pulsing beats of the crowded club.

Armed with sacred tools, I embarked on a craze,

I've had many deep thoughts and theories surrounding the very nature of our reality and I've come to the conclusion that our reality is the dream (a simulation of a kind) and physical death is merely an awakening event. Life is just an elaborate game of experiences for us to learn and grow from and we chose to be here at this time.

My dreams are incredibly intense, I remember all of them. My body might be asleep, but I'm awake all night in some other reality. Living the day of another version of myself. It's maddening.

Dali said "There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad."

In the clearing, some wild psychedelic mushrooms caught Who's eye. Our adventure-loving fox couldn't resist! Circling them with his tail doing a happy dance. Ever closer, he takes a bite, and boom! Psychedelic world—dancing trees, crazy sky shades of colours that don't exist!

Now, in a total bliss state, Who's wandering around this magical forest, and bumps into A wise, old owl just hanging out on a branch. Owl's all chill, looking at Who with those all-knowing eyes, and goes, "Yo, young fox my dude, you're on the psychedelic mushroom ride bro! Learn some deep stuff about yourself and the world, my friend."

Even though Who's a bit mind-blown by the talking owl, there's this cool connection. So, off they go, exploring the wild, with the owl dropping wisdom bombs about how everything's connected in nature and why embracing your true self is the real deal. 

And that's the legend of Who, the fox, and the psychedelic mushrooms!

In the cosmic vastness of the Universe, Smudge, a space cat with a taste for mushrooms explored a distant asteroid.

He discovered a patch of rainbow fungi and, unable to resist, indulged in a few. Instantly, the universe warped, bent and contorted into an array of kaleidoscopic shapes, the universe mirroring and twisting all around him.

Suddenly! a portal opened up and he soared through infinite dimensions, encountering planets of cotton candy and gravity-reversed madness.

Dreams & Nightmares on Psychedelics

Around 1999, I regularly attended a rave held every month. One time, deciding to arrive early, I took some acid and began the 45-minute walk to the venue in the pouring rain. The trip kicked in about halfway there. The rain reminded me of a time I was on a boat during a downpour, where the river looked like a rain-soaked road. This memory merged with my trip at that moment.

Suddenly, a tall, skinny guy with an intense and erratic energy, as if he were on every drug imaginable, shouted in my face, "Do you have any LSD on you?" I replied, "Not on me, no." He paused, stared at me for a moment, then said, "Well, can I have some of whatever you're on?" We both burst out laughing, and I turned and walked away, still laughing.

Then, what must have been a bus, but looked to me like a gigantic early-1800s steamboat made of brass and copper, sailed past at speed through a puddle next to me, soaking me. This made me laugh even more, because WTF! I spent the rest of the night dancing, and it was an incredible night!

Pardon Me, Do You Have Any LSD On You?

One evening, as I was drifting through a psychedelic experience, the Indian mandala tapestries on the bedroom walls seemed to come alive. I found myself falling into a trance, the mandalas transforming into portals that drew me into a vortex of neon lights and cosmic energy. 
Each time I returned to the room, I glimpsed a shaman dancing around a blazing fire on my bed, surrounded by a vivid spectacle of demons - both his and perhaps mine - performing an almost choreographed dance of their own.
Just as I was beginning to process this surreal vision, I would be pulled back into the trance, falling deeper into the vibrant rhythm. And the cycle would repeat.
