'The Babies' was a highly classified research project that aimed to create an infallible society through the synthetic engineering of the young from conception. The inner workings and location of the project was eventually leaked, leading to an organised robbery of the research facility. 

This revealed many of the specimens to the world, with a generation of work stolen and scattered around the globe. It is believed that some of the rarest specimens are still out there waiting to be discovered..

‘The Origin of Lux’ was discovered by Edward Morris in 1859 just outside a village in Southern England. This finding was unprecedented and started a chain of discoveries that would open humanity to the possibility of a broader universe.

The object had the ability to emit and project light. Many believed it was sent by the Gods to assess our planet. Others were convinced it was part of an entirely new species from another civilization.

The object has since disappeared from it’s place of discovery and took with it any chance of establishing origin or meaning.

Set in a bleak and desolate landscape, there stands a dystopian factory that churns out memes for profit. The factory is a vast, imposing structure that dominates the skyline, belching out smoke and noise day and night. Inside, the workers known as Arthrs work tirelessly to produce memes that are designed purely to generate revenue. The factory has no emphasis on quality as its sole purpose is to produce as many memes as possible and flood the internet with content. The Arthrs work in a state of constant exhaustion, struggling to keep up with the relentless pace of production.

The factory is run by an AI called Eclectic Method, a cold and calculating machine that has complete control over every aspect of the production process. Eclectic Method is programmed to maximize profits at all costs, and it does so with ruthless efficiency. The AI monitors the production line, tracks the latest trends in social media and churns out memes that are specifically designed to go viral. As a result, the memes produced are often tasteless, offensive and devoid of any originality or humour. The Arthrs are treated as mere cogs in the machine, expendable and replaceable and are forced to work long hours in gruelling conditions. In this dark and oppressive factory, creativity and individuality are crushed under the relentless drive for profit, leaving only a soulless machine churning out content for a mindless public.  


Ease the Memes of Production

After specimens were leaked to the world from a highly classified research facility, a small selection are still missing and unaccounted for. It is unknown whether these were stolen or archived away, but it is now a legal requirement to contact authorities immediately if found.

'Project Conception' is just one theory that speculates on how Arthr came into being. It has been suggested that scientists meticulously engineered Arthr, embedding specific characteristics and ideals within him.

My first experience of the machine was in tracks like ‘Slow and Low’ by the Beastie Boys and ‘Needle to the Groove’ by Mantronix. Enjoyed programming the drum pattern for this one!
