Night is falling on this wide expanse. Beautiful calm exists as far as the eye can see. Yet as I gaze at the rising moon, there is an uneasy calm. Our grandfather spoke of lore; one where entire armies would be swallowed into the deep. The brightest of their engineers, strongest of their warriors, all no match for the unyielding one. And here I am; another generation set to explore what is beyond this water world.

Surreal moments follow inspiration. As each drop fell and collided with the water below, it would bounce back only to be met by another on its way down. There is a sense of gravity loss. Beautiful, airy and light. Colours intermingle as red and blue became more than their origin, reflecting the greater world. This art was created completely in camera with a single frame.

Anti-Gravity

The glorious Niagara Falls are always beautiful in any light. However, at night, when illuminated, they become pure art. With Table Rock Centre silhouetted in the foreground, time is suspended as if it were a painting.

In a world of convenience we owe gratitude to the farmer, keeper of the land -- pioneers by all rights. Driven by passion, they risk all to feed the world while forging ahead in the face of nature.

Venice holds my heart as it does the hearts of many. This is an artistic vector drawn rendition inspired directly from my own imagery when entering Venice by water. The beauty of its architecture wrapped in bold shadows was breathtaking.

Domino

We are all made from stardust. This hand drawn vector artwork is directly inspired from my own photographic art from Banff, Alberta, Canada. This was original blue hour image captured from the Banff Street bridge. Here it has been recreated as an interstellar escape of the senses. We dream when looking at the stars. This is a representation of those moments of wonder. The lower star field in the dark mountain represents that the universe is within us.

Stardust

The long grass swayed gently in the breeze, yearning for the gaze of a passerby, as the old barn stood with creaking bones. Sounds of nature filled the spaces in between. In that pinnacle moment, I saw a silhouetted figure rise up from the shadows, ready to embrace life and explore the beauty of the present. Never Stop Exploring.

An electrical pulse flashes in my eye. What was that? This is not normal. Looking again, the impossible becomes reality. The world beyond me is breaking into pieces of reality. There is a disconnect that I cannot pinpoint. Something broke my harmony into this matrix. The collection of colours has become my abstraction. As my mind puts back the pieces, there is a memory of a beautiful sunset that begins to form. 

This is a photographic image that has been hand coloured to create a fusion with art. The source of the shapes is from the lattice of a transmission tower. There is so much beauty in engineering.

Inspired by my original photograph of a CRT TV I found in a dumpster, Game Over is a contemplation to the finite life span of each technological leap.
