Dissociating

Shortly after apollyon had left for elysia, the angel raphael came down to elysia to heal the world and the chaos their brother would cause. To their surprise, they felt the force of the demons growing ever stronger, and their brother’s presence was nowhere to be found. When they came to the point of impact, raphael found their brother’s body, torn to shreds amidst the sea of broken machinery and weaponry.

Raphael fell back in horror, confused and terrified at how apollyon had fallen. They closed their eyes, letting the force of the holy ghost flow through them. Flowers bloomed at their fingertips, and the discarded weapons of war were overtaken by the landscape. Apollyon would not wake, and raphael flew to the heavens to consult with his fellow angels.
