Is it a Gorilla, Is it a Pepe in a Gorilla Suit?

Meticulously hand-drawn over several weeks, this is a one-off a kind, Nouveau and Mucha inspired illustration. 

It presents the birth of Bitcoin, growing into its future promise and the technological advances it led to- the birth of cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, web 3.0, and block chains.

I wanted to draw something to commemorate these advancements, and in honor of Satoshi. This is 1 of 1

Nouveau Inspired Bitcoin

In another dimension, we see an alternate history to our own unfolding. Its 1937 and I ld pals Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster walk away rejected by another publisher with their idea for a super strong man that fights crime. 

In a moment of brilliance, Jerry asks Joe “what if instead of a man, we use a highly evolved frog from the future, that returns to 1930s America.. he can have incredible amphibian strength, leap over buildings, outrun a speeding locomotive!” 

Publishers at Direct Comics agreed, saw the chance for a new direction in comics, and so Superpepe was born! Now nearly 100 years later Pepe went from fighting Nazis to a beloved American treasure.
