Most of my painting ideas come from the stories I read.
I get so immersed in the book that I put myself in the place of the main character of the book and visualize every scene in my mind and repeat the dialogues.
I love colorful paintings, I get a lot of energy and excitement from seeing them.
In my opinion, the more colorful the world, the more beautiful it is.
This time I decided to paint all those books.
But how was it possible?!
I decided to paint with a focus on the canvas and without an airbrush.
The day I drew this painting was winter, but the warmth of the books was inside me and I was not afraid of the cold.

My name is Michel, a playful Yorkshire Terrier. My family and I used to live on Kish Island until my owner passed away. My neighbor left me in a dark and dingy storage room without food or water. I had no hope of survival until I was found when I was 10 years old. I was on the brink of death, but they showed me so much love and care that I recovered and continued to live. I went on a long and eternal journey when I was 17, and now only my memories remain. Today, I want to help my friend Tito by selling my portrait because life becomes very difficult for us dogs when we are separated from our owners. Although I am no longer alive, I am happy to be able to help my friend by contributing to the cost of his transfer to Iran with a portrait of my face.

When I was 7 years old, I had just given birth and all my babies were taken away from me and I was abandoned on the hot streets of Kish Island. One day, while I was looking for food, I was hit by a car and my left hand was crushed under the wheel. As I was limping down the street with my injured hand, a kind lady found me and quickly took me to a veterinarian. The doctor examined me and unfortunately, my hand was infected and the doctor had to amputate it. I continued my life with three legs. The lady who took care of me was a painter and sold her paintings to provide food and medicine for us. There were many other sick dogs in the house, each with different illnesses, ages, and breeds. 

The day I entered my new home, they dressed me in a beautiful outfit because my fur was all matted. The doctor said I had malnutrition. The kind lady took care of me, changed my bandages every day, gave me medicine, and massaged my body with a special oil for hours until my fur grew back and my wounds healed. I lived with that lady and her friends for 7 years, and at the age of 14, I passed away due to breast cancer. The lady who took care of me named me "Sepas" which means gratitude. 

Now, why Sepas? My name is Farnaz and my artistic name is Sepas. I chose this name so that the name, memory sepas would always be alive and appreciated for those who bought my paintings to help animals. I chose the name Sepas as my artistic name and I always proudly say that my dog's name is my artistic name. Now that I am no longer in this world, I have put my portrait up for sale to help Tito and to assist my friend in bringing him to Iran.
