"Looking After Each Other" is a 3.3x2.5 foot canvas created with a mix of markers, sumi ink, acrylics, and water based paint to explore the idea of community and growth. The piece reflects a shift from competition to collaboration, especially within meme culture, capturing a moment where communities of different meme and stories begin to support each other, creating a sense of interconnectedness.

Flowing sumi ink are used to create a very subtle thin shades in contrasts with bold acrylics, representing the balance between individuality and unity. The use of paint markers adds finer details at the same time keeping the piece playful. The goal was to evoke a sense of life and evolution, much like the communities and the I seek to celebrate with the artwork.
