Cold Water Music  is part of my "Inmersiones" series, a multi awarded collection which  is born from the need to take my long exposure photography a step further.
If in previous series I limited myself to capturing scenes of already existing, in "Inmersiones" the intervention in the landscape takes on a fundamental role, with the inclusion of everyday objects, some of them antiques with their own history, which submerged in the aquatic environment they take on a new life

"Waterworld" is my personal approach to long exposure photography, where I seek a dialogue between the real and unreal, with easily recognizable objects, product of human activity, situated in a dreamy environment. The aquatic environment has always given me a special fascination, both for its condition of primary and vital medium, as by the aesthetics that it transfers to the images of long exposure, giving them an ethereal character. Simple compositions, without distractions, looking for a clear visual reading and direct, inciting surprise as well as leisurely contemplation "Waterworld" is in turn an exercise in photographic solitude, whispers and silences

Don’t Drag Me Down

I’m very proud to have a signature style with my daylight minimalism waterscape long exposures. This is the way I have chosen to express my art, and of course I feel very comfortable doing it.

But sometimes, even when you least expect it, magic appears outside your comfort zone.

Last February I planned a snowshoe excursion with my family, I hired a mountain guide and my children were super excited.

The chosen day dawned with a heavy snowfall and when we arrived at our meeting point, a spot at 2000 meters on the French side of the Pyrenees, a dense fog covered everything.

We started our route, walking on a meter of virgin snow, with hardly any vision due to the fog, it was like entering a huge white hole... after about 20 minutes the fog began to open up as we entered a small forest. A few isolated trees appeared out of the mist, and what was going to be a family walk turned into a crazy minimalist landscape session.... without planning, without time to check each shot, just drawing on my experience and photography skills, and with an eye on the guide and my children trying not to get lost...in white.

Ten Ghosts and a Church is a collection of eleven pieces, taken during the last 4 winters, when the level of my favorite water reservoir is high and the trees are partially covered by water. The morning fog creates an atmosphere of mystery and loneliness, this is the way I've always imagined what ghosts are like.The ten ghosts are the pieces about these ghost trees and the 11th piece is very special: an old submerged church that emerges only when the level of water drops and the trees are completely uncovered again.So the Ten Ghosts and the Church are always separated in this special dance with the rise and fall of the water level.
