Currently, 90% of the world's aquamarine is extracted from the Brazil making the country the largest producer of this beautiful stone

It has a color that is very similar to ocean water and can varies in shade of blue.
The stone was used by sailors as a protection talisman during battle and at sea and for good luck.

Aquamarine has a special connection to the Throat Chakra and can help to improve communication. 
A great amount of positive energy comes from this stone and that increases the ability to talk publicly because it helps with self-confidence

This variety of quartz can have different tinges of purple, including a reddish-purple or a lilac that fades into purple.

As a derivative of the Greek word amethystos, 'amethyst' implies sobriety and maintains a substance-free mindset.

It is believed that amethyst promotes serenity and calm. People who work with crystals can use the gemstones to relieve anxiety and pain perception. It dispels rage, alleviates fear and anger, and calms anxiety.

Alcohol inks original painting. I used color green, purple, peach and metallic gold to create this abstract work. Fluid alcohol inks are dissolved in Isopropyl, moved around and dried with a hair dryer forming shapes.

Here you can see the Evolution of my painting. Each layer is made with fluid inks and pure 99% isopropyl that I poured on the acrylic sheet  and dried with a hair dryer. Each layer brings more dimension to the painting. The last layer is the final painting when the composition is achieved and completed.
