Once we've escaped the fiat inferno, Cypher Deos moves into a symbolic purgatory on earth. Its inhabitants must atone for the sins of central banks as a battle wages on in the sky above for a better money system. Purgatorio uses symbology from end-times  bible prophecy, predicting the end of the age of fiat money.

Playing on the iconic “Ringling Bros. And Barnum Bailey Circus” title, the Banker Bros. And Regulators Circus opens up with a familiar site, outside the Fictional Reserve circus featured in Cypher:Deos Purgatorio. This animation takes us inside the circus to see what these debt-loving, inflation-causing, interest rate-hiking clowns are up to inside. Once inside, we see some guy with quite an iconic haircut spinning the interest rate wheel of fortune, to see if we get to win a +50, +75, or +100 basis points increase (apparently these are the only options), a debt cannon advertising the fact that fiat is Monopoly money which the fictional reserve freely prints and we pay for. Dollar dominance as global reserve currency is the elephant in the room, as it’s become a bit difficult to tame. As the camera pushes towards the back of the circus, we get a closer look at some of the financial regulators and bankers involved as well as what’s inside the top-secret reserve vault.

Fiat Pyramid v1 presents a visually arresting animation of an infinite pyramid structure composed of AI-generated pyramids. The design integrates currency style art and occult symbolism to construct the pyramid's form, a commentary on the nature of fiat money and its role in modern economics.

Fiat Pyramid v2  is a mesmerizing animated video piece created in 3d depicting a seemingly infinite pyramid meticulously constructed out of AI-generated imagery, inspired by currency style artwork with an ominous twist. 

Each face of the rotating 3d pyramid is richly detailed and imbued with texture, giving the endlessly looping pyramid a lifelike quality and depth. 

The structure narrows as it ascends, creating a sense of endless progression towards the apex, which remains just out of sight, symbolizing the unattainable nature of wealth accumulation.

Fiat Pyramids

Funding the Occupation is a surreal, constantly zooming digital artwork featuring six warped, circular cityscapes in ruins representing Israel’s war on Gaza. At the center of each of the six compositions, a whirlpool-like vortex made of US dollar bills pulls the viewer's eye into its infinite depth, symbolizing the relentless financial engine driving the conflict.

The dollars are not merely paper but act as structural elements—representing the role of US funding in supporting and perpetuating the conflict - the dollars twist and intertwine with each destroyed cityscape, converging into a distorted vortex at the core.  

The cityscapes around the central vortices are a haunting tableau of destruction: buildings stand damaged and broken, tanks patrol the ground, and fires rage, casting a dangerous glow over the scene.

The circular cityscapes representing Gaza and the greater conflict in Palestine are ablaze: buildings are fractured and smoldering, Israeli tanks patrol the debris-strewn streets, and Palestinian flags flutter amidst the chaos.
