Pardis - Ascendance

Did the Black Cat dream of returning to its divine royal roots when she followed the White Rabbit down the entheogenic hole?..
Worshiped in Ancient Egypt, cats have populated Myth and taken the form of fierce feline goddesses such as the warrior Sekhmet later evolved into Bastet, both symbolizing not only justice and power but also fertility.
In The Matrix, the blue-haired character Bugs (as in Bunny) represents a renewed Trinity, commanding the Resistance to help resurrect Neo in the most recent instance of The Code. She does so by embodying the enticing White Rabbit: that perennial archetype of the character who challenges the Hero to embark on their Journey and fulfill The Prophecy. 
The Code is not without its glitches... so, regardless of how your Analyst might try to Blue Pill you, when you see the black cat twice in a row you’ll know that is “DEJA VU” which means one thing only - you won’t be able to dodge the (Red Pill) bullets - so jack yourself in, follow the proverbial White Rabbit and enjoy the ride!!

This Vision connects with my previous Superrare piece “NEO Genesis” (from which a small clip is depicted at the tongue blotter end-sequence) through the easter eggs I’ve placed in both works creating the Yin/Yang duality of female Black Cat and male White Rabbit (on their awakening LSD and Psilocybin trips respectively) both being the complementary faces of the fully realised Godhead-Hero: The ONE.

SX-600 - The Harvest

Initially inspired by Skekmal (AKA The Hunter) from Dark Crystal and his relentless power, the vision of a somewhat synthwavy dark character started to emerge and soon gained a life of it's own through the lens of Taoistic pairs.
Contained and trapped inside this cosmic glass card, the "Control" side of this conceptual being meets his opposite unhinged twin - the "DAMAGE" - who breaks free to unleash the dynamic duality of this ETHernal battle within.

I've sculpted and hand painted this piece in VR then filmed and edited it synchronized to the ever inspiring Extra Terra & Lazerpunk track "Damage".
