Wet In Desires is a nude photography project I discovered the human body once again in a creative way. I sought the essence of sexual desire in human body and gestures during the creative process.  
Our sexual attention can easily triggered by physical appearance. Also gestures may be really attracting for us too. I focused on these 2 visual aspect and benefited by long exposure, double exposure on camera techniques to create a ''desire moment'' effect in photograph. 'Colored Water' and 'Light' represent the space conquered by desires.

As a contemporary artist who experiments with different mediums and materials, I am always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of creativity. This collection is no exception.

The core element of this collection is the marching ants animation of selection tool that we are all familiar with. Instead of using it as an assistant painting tool, I have discovered a way to use it as a material to create compositions. By leveraging the screen recording feature, I have captured the marching ants animation style drawings and exported them in mov format to process them on video editing software for creating the master piece.  
The result is a series of mesmerizing animations of marching ants lines on solid black background. For the start of course. Colorful versions with the same technique will follow the genesis collection. But this collection is not just about the final product, it's about the process and the layers that artists can play with.

By scaling the canvas before drawing, different outcomes on marching ants lines of the animation can be achieved at the end. Condensed lines create fluid blocks, while intersected lines can create pattern flows. There are handful amount of possibilities that can be achieved with the technique and of course some limitations too. 

This technique also has allowed me to explore the beauty of simplicity and the power of hacking tools in art. It challenges the conventional notion of what art is and how it should be created. It's about breaking the rules and discovering new paths that lead to unexpected destinations which honestly resonates with me a lot because I’m a self taught artist and always had to figure out my own ways to learn&make things.

I believe that this collection will inspire artists to think outside the box and experiment with different tools and techniques. It's a reminder that there are no limits to creativity and that we can always find new ways to express ourselves.

”Distress, Gain Hopes And Back to Quarantine” Quarantine days have been a forceful mind treatment for many of us. we had so much time that we have never had before to think about the maze of our existence. ‘how are we going to solve our problems?’ ‘why do such things keep happening?’ ‘are we always right?’ ‘who else would we want to share these thoughts with?’ ‘why do we take decisions like these?’ ‘what kind of future do we desire?’ … i was thinking about almost everything during my days in quarantine. to keep myself sane i was watching the ocean from my balcony on the 25th floor. and i was seeing people trying to get rid of their stress for a couple of minutes in their own ways. it was necessary to have some outside moments to keep moral values high enough for standing strong during the isolation period. even though they were outside, the moments they were having were extremely private. i could feel them struggling with their self questioning, their energy was so high. i wanted to document every second of those moments to reflect the psychological side of the pandemic. i was far enough from them to not disturb their treatment and my position was high enough to not disclose their identities. i positioned them in my photographs in the corner, kept a big ocean space in the rest of the frame to represent the relation between them and the future they hope to live trough.

Quarantine days have been a forceful mind treatment for many of us.

I feel like we reached the hight that we need to think about our digital dependencies and a nice future we can embrace innovation in a peaceful manner. With accepting that our lives will be more digital-dependent, securing our belongings and keeping digital environments safe by protecting against corruption will be a common anxiety. 

Tho I see a decent realization about this and fortunately we re experimenting decentralized systems and networks for a while.

If I need to worship one thing, it would be Sun i guess... We felt its power way before than we know how we rely on it. We're impressed by it both in ignorance and wisdom. This fine art photography collection, 'Light Matter' is a poetic expression of the interconnectedness of the tangible and ethereal which carries a hidden narrative that actually -'light' matters-.

LIGHT MATTER

‘’Nothing touches softer than light’’

Seduced By A Street Light is a low light nude photography collection includes 22 pieces.

Collection has been created after two sessions of photoshoots with the same model in the same location between 2022 and 2023 summers.

These shots picture a short but exciting story of a woman who's seduced by a street light in a summer night... The collection aims to reflect a unique angle about the concept of sexual desire and plays with the idea of cycles of sexual response. 

As widely argued; these cycles may be categorized as 4 phases. Even there are counter opinions and studies, as an artist I focused on the first research on the subject by William H. Masters and Virginia E. Johnson, in their 1966 book Human Sexual Response. 
Arousal, Plateau, Orgasm and Resolution, the names of these 4 cycles have been manipulated into Flirt, Fantasy, Trance and Climax phases for this collection. 

Flirt phase has 8 shots which are all short exposures. It’s where the fire starts.

Fantasy phase has 6 shots which are all long exposures and with zoom bursts to reflect a ‘fantasy’ atmosphere.

Trance phase has 7 shots which are all long and kinetic exposures to reflect a state where the borders of physical and metaphysical are blurry with an alternative angle, this time through music. Each piece represents a music note and named as so. In an article Adam Safron mentions that’ ’Music and dance may be the only things that come close to sexual interaction in their power to entrain neural rhythms and produce sensory absorption and trance. Indeed, this may be one of the primary reasons we sing and dance. That is, the reasons we enjoy sexual experiences may overlap heavily with the reasons we enjoy musical experience, both in terms of proximate (1.e. neural entrainment and induction of trancelike states) and ultimate (i.e. mate choice and bonding) levels of causation. - ’’. As an artist who has been working on dance themed fine art projects for over 10 years, I always used to think the same about dance and music. That’s why Do Major, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si are the moments of Trance phase in this collection. 

Climax phase has 1 shot which is a short exposure with a composition that represents the relaxation comes by ‘oxytocin’-triggered hormones. It’s also where I wanted to end this story. At the peak. We all know that the rest is refractory period and it’s maybe another projects’ subject…
