Publishing poetry, and other art, on blockchains allows artists to be independent. They get the potential to be the owner of their work, their audience, their income. However, it also means that they, we, need to be the masters of our own marketing. In the metaverse, web3 the world of crypto and blockchains that means relentlessly promoting your work on Twitter and in Discord channels. This poem gives a peak behind the curtain of the life of a cryptopoet.

The poem reads:

The city  
of lights was the centre  
of the universe as Éphémère  
as the Palais in which  
we wondered.

We'll always have Paris

The tall grass  
suddenly grows high, fed  
by spring's rain. And in that tall grass, one  
single wildflower shows  
us beauty.

We met on Medium. You showed me where to find the POM family. If I remember correctly, we weaved a garland of flower poems once. Then you showed me there was a Web3 world. Again, I found beauty and community thanks to you. That's what this poem is about.
