Compared to other colours, red is an extreme colour and sits on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to correlating emotions with it. On one end, it’s a symbol of power, passion, love and energy and on the other, there is jealousy, anger, violence, obsession and danger.

What the "Lady in Red" portrays in this photo is up to the viewer's interpretation of red.

This photo was taken in Castle Kronborg, also known around the world as Hamlet’s Castle, which is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe.

During the pandemic, I fell into a dark place. My creativity became stifled, and my voice felt caged. Often it is the deepest pain, which empowers you to grow into your highest self.

I created this photo back in 2015 when I was stuck in inertia.  

I’ve always wanted to do my own version of the proverbial principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” and thought that it was the perfect time to bring my ideas about this concept to life. 

This session will always be an all-time favorite, not just because of the images and fond memories that my team and I created together, but because it is a reminder that I am in charge of myself and of my thoughts.

“SOL” (meaning sun in Danish) is a part of my AI Exploration series, which is all about using this exciting new tool to create characters that are unique and mimic my photography style with themes that I love to create

"Sol" was created using different AI tools to render different components and then composited together in Photoshop, where post-editing techniques like photobashing and overpainting, as well as color grading were used to create the final result.

"Only Us" is a dedication to the only love in my life that I could never have.

Through the darkest hours of the night,  
She holds them close, a gentle light,
