During a run of algorithms to generate "star bursts" an error of calculation brought this tree to life. It has since become one of my favourite pieces due to the symmetry but also the random generation over the top.

And we come to Defender 5. The pilots who get to fly these spacecraft are the envy of the Earth's Local Galactic Alliance (ELGA). Fast, nimble, smooth and armed with sun-powered heat-seeking lasers the Defender 5 is the pinnicle of spacecraft creation. Alien technology was used within the engine and weapons systems. Earth's scientists were able to mend it closely to Earth's technology creating a reliable, if not expensive, spacecraft. It's only drawbacks being is its space launch requirements. Most pilots chosen for missions with Defender 5 are not returned to Earth.

Defender 5

AI generated spaceships designed to protect Earth from whatever threatens the human race in the future. We do not know what that may be but we always knew that we weren't alone.

The second generation of Earth's defender's took what it could from Defender 1 and applied it. Some alien technology had begun to creep in, such as the unilateral reverse fin for easier piloting within alien atmospheres and dual engines to approach lightspeed faster. Defender 2 was not capable of entering Earth's atmosphere, so is launched from space and only used in space operations or alien atmospheres where it can maneuver.
