Inside every human being there is a light side and a dark side. Whichever one we choose, we become that person. Sometimes we keep the light and darkness in us in balance. As Rembrandt and Jung said, '' The less aware we are of the darkness within us, the darker and darker our shadow will be.''

Triangle #20/20

Built between 906 and 1908 as the starting station of the Istanbul - Baghdad Railway line and put into service in 1908, the use of Haydarpaşa Station as a station building dates back to the 1870s. It was completed in 1873. 

Haydarpaşa, built by two German architects, is called a neo-classical building. Haydarpaşa Station, which is spread over an area of 3 thousand 836 square metres in total, has 5 floors.

In 2010, as a result of a sudden fire, most of the roof of Haydarpaşa Station was burnt and renovation works are continuing.

The 1850s is a time of important events in history. The Great Exhibition opened in London in 1851. 
The Great Exhibition of 1851 was the nucleus of a new type of fair, the World's Fairs (Expolar), and broke new ground in many ways. For the first time, many countries around the world participated in the exhibition with their various and unique collections and had the opportunity to introduce their own culture, resources, industry and technology, as well as having the chance to compare themselves with other countries within the framework of that period. In a sense, the Great Exhibition filled a very important gap by enabling interactions between countries for the first time and by preparing the ground for technological developments to be announced worldwide for the first time. New year and new hopes.

Look at Me

Children's eyes and thoughts are always pure. A quote by Saint-Exupéry, the author of The Little Prince, who refuses to be an adult who believes only in numbers, evidence, and logic, and always wants to keep the child inside him alive, is very impressive; "The yeast of truth is invisible to the eye."

But we can see the truth much better through the eyes of a child than through the eyes of an adult. The pure Look series consists of photos I have taken for about 12 years.

Everyone is alone in their own journey. However, this loneliness is accompanied by some people. The people who will accompany us on our journey should carry us forward, not backward, and this mutual nourishment should carry us to a world full of unknowns, ready to be explored. But sometimes, in order to perceive the world more clearly, it is necessary to travel alone. Both inwardly and outwardly.

Because emptiness is a difficult thing to deal with. Emptiness is undefined and extremely frightening. But emptiness is something that should be in every human being's life. In this way, we fill that emptiness with our own choices and our life gains meaning.
