From the series - “Land of Dreams” this image has always made me think “alien invasion’. 
The terrain in itself is out of this world but my mind and imagination envisions 3 space travelers standing by their ship, ready to embark on a new land. 

This particular image has taken me 2 years to complete after 3 return trips to the location, 6 times hiking to the top of a steep cone & then finally completing the edit 7-8 months later. 

The unique colors and patterns give it a whimsical unearthly feel in its abstraction.

It is the first release in the series and these are my favorite images to date given that the location is one of the most unique I have visited and lengths it took to bring my vision to fruition.

Location is not disclosed since in the "Land of Dreams" it simply does not matter.
