It was mid-April of 2022, when I was going through a period of high-impact situations involving both work and family. For more than a week I was under continuous and enormous emotional stress as things kept changing rapidly. Though I tried to maintain my composure, there came a point in time one late afternoon when my resilience was shattered.

When nothing seems to work and a sense of having lost it all prevails, we tend to look for some source of inspiration to weather the storm raging inside us. 

So, I took a break and went to hills at the Altamont Pass, just a few miles from my office, to be amidst elements of nature. Sitting alone silently and fighting my emotional upswings, 15-20 minutes went by when I noticed the wind starting to pick up, clouds zooming in, and turbulent scenes starting to unfold in front of my eyes. It was as if the nature was creating a canvas mimicking and reflecting my emotional state.

The rapid movement of clouds were so dramatic that the photographer inside me instinctively opened the bag and set up camera gear. For the next couple of minutes rest everything happened involuntarily. In an automated way I captured a number of frames, one of them being The CHURN. In less than 5 minutes the whole scene folded back and serenity & calmness prevailed. The threatening clouds vanished as fast as they had come in.

These 40 minutes that I spent at the hill, nature came to my rescue and showed me the way forward to contemplate and deal with challenging situation that I was faced with. It showed me that after every storm comes a clear sky. AND, when I left the hills that evening, I was calmer and a stronger person.

Eminönü-Karaköy was connected for the first time by a wooden bridge in 1845. At the beginning of the 20th century, the need for a new bridge arose. Construction took two years. In 1912, the Historical Galata Bridge was opened. This bridge has provided great convenience to many people.

In addition, the stairs on this bridge offer great convenience to many people and thousands of people come and go. I loved the light and shadow here and such a minimal order appeared in my head and I photographed this moment after waiting for a while.

We at deaf community have been advocating for bring back closed captions for twitter space since it's not working for a while.  It's very challenging to be part of space without captions and it's a huge setback for us. 

We feel excluded..  
We feel disappointed.. 
We feel hopeless.. 

So, we decided to fight for accessibility in the NFT space and launching the campaign to show the importance of inclusivity. 

The lines in this image depict the barriers for deaf community in NFT Space but still trying to cross over. "The fight for accessibility" will continue...

I met this girl named nilza while hanging around the coldest Lake Tsomo riri, located in Ladakh region and she engaged in conversation with people from outside though they are completely strangers. I perplexed to see it whether it could happen in city world! No! Without second thought, I portrayed her, and she simply had shown love symbol!  She insisted me to have bite of her chocolate for capturing her and I promised her to send a copy of it after taking this picture! :)

Freedom!

Have you ever stopped yourself for a while to think about your goals? When was the last time that you had to slow down and smell the aroma of first rain? I strongly believe we need to stop ourselves often to introspect whether we are going in right direction. Nature allows us to slow down, think and helps to make the right decision. I just encountered this beautiful monsoon rain while returning from shoot!

Light brings hope to think about future. I find light fascinating! Morning light and mountains are the best combination to feel the spirit! After an arduous trek in early morning, I reached near the cliff of mountain to watch the beautiful sunrise! What a moment to recall the memories!
