In "Sophia and the Snake," I depict  the imagery of Sophia, the gnostic goddess of wisdom, and Kundalini, the great serpent energy. These two figures represent the divine feminine, the great mother. Inspired by a personal experience, the piece is a call to the unknown, the unseen, but the always felt. Through Sophia's gaze and the serpent's coiled energy, therein weaves a tale of mystery and intrigue. "Sophia and the Snake" is a haunting portrait that delves deep into the human psyche, whispering to deeper truths that lie sleeping within us all.
