Side Note: One of my childhood dreams was to go to New York. That dream is yet to become a reality. Life sometimes throws so many obstacles at you and you get used to dodging that it becomes your life and the norm. 

I haven't given up on my hopes and dreams. One day I will make them come true.

She stood on the shore and watched as his ship sailed away towards the unknown. Inside her heart was breaking she wasn't sure when he would return. 

Days turned into months and months into years. Still she waited and walked down to the shore to look out for his ship. 

The day he left he suprised her with a bunch of red roses and proposed to her, it was his promise to her that he will return and they would get married. 

She loved him like no other. He was her soulmate. Time went went by and age was no longer on her side she managed to go down to the shore for the last time and there he stood waiting for her...

Shoreline Echoes

There once was an woman who's soul was dark. Her mind had cruel intentions. Many called her a witch. She thrived on power.

She had an idea in her head that if she could call on the Angel of Hope she would bind her and take her power.

Each day she would call one the Angel.  She called for  months. Finally the Angel appeared to her. The Angel already knew her wicked intentions.

The woman knelt down in front of the Angel and placed her hands on the Angels stomach her core - and began to draw out her power.

The Angel looked down at the woman and told her that greed will lead her no where. The woman kept on - eventually she had so much power - she couldn't handle it.

She begged  the Angel to take it back and that she had learnt her lesson.

Being an Angel she did as for the woman - she was never seen again.

Be careful who you allow to get close to you. Some people literally thrive on draining others with their self-centred ways.

Life balance:  their effortless grace and ability to stand on one leg represents harmony and balance.

Perspective:  Sometimes things are not always as they appear.  If you turn the picture upside down you will find a new perspective and a completely different picture.

Life is all about balance and perspective.  Sometimes the way we see something is not as straight forward as it would appear.

For many of us all we need to do is to find a balance again.
