Mark sits in the palace at the end of the Earth, burdened by the weight of the responsibilities he's been tasked to shoulder.

As he makes his way to meet St. Duckworth he became entranced by one of the many commissioned works of the First Mother, Mary Morningstar. A woman born destitute, and yet every portrait managed to carry a presence that only one of the Morningstar clan could exude.

This piece is very special to me. This was a piece I started in a very tumultuous point in my life, and as a result a lot of my art from that time went unfinished, and to add insult to injury, later that year a house fire at my family home ruined a lot of my physical work I had built up. Afterwards I moved purely to digital art and design, mostly focusing on album art and creative direction. When my friend Ameer got me back into creating art for myself again in the crypto space late 2020, I found the file for this piece and decided to revisit it, finally having come full circle and knowing exactly what to do with it. It almost brought me to tears to wrap this piece up.
