Fog is the only moving element threatening the morning stillness of this Spanish forest. 
As it surrounds the aged trees that stand in silence, alone I stay in my place, not to disrupt the essence of the moment.

The drifting sounds and colours seemed to weave together in the making of a delicate and intangible fabric, which was the spirit of the place.

It has also witnessed many historical events, such as a triumphal battle by Napoleon, and in the same steep hills, the horrid combat depicted in Hemingway ´s novel “For Whom The Bell Tolls” during the Spanish Civil war.

A small glimpse at any given site, and a bit of imagination, can take you back centuries in time.
