Odyssey of the Heart 

Teary eyes is a self-portrait that shows the pain of the broken heart, the raw emotion of feeling lost as if we were in the middle of the sea with no lighthouse. Life leaves everything unfinished. This is a special work about self love and how we can rise from the pain by nourish our souls. 

The arches behind are fossilized, they represents Heracles’ columns at the end of the world, which is how we might feel because of the pain, like everything around us is falling apart, and we are alone at the end of the world without perspective, lost in the mist of nothingness. 

I see the reflections of your heart, getting more distant each second. And the run of time can not be stopped. I keep wandering with my mind, odyssey of my heart, that it’s always headed into yours.


Teary Eyes

Love comes with pain, love comes with fear, the fear of losing you has been the strongest fear I’ve ever felt in my life, and yet it did not prevent it from happening. 

Life could be surprising at times, all we have believed could turn upside down in the connection we found with another soul. That is all that takes, one human being to hold you as the entire gravity of the world would depend on that single simple gesture.

I have loved you more than I loved myself, but it is because of your own love for me that I learned how to love myself too. You taught me the most important lessons of all: love, if pure, is never a losing game. 

It might feel now that history is all you have left me, but that is not completely true, you left me the joy of those playful days, the joy of having my heart exploding everytime I looked into your eyes and found the entire universe in them. 

 And in our journey of becoming everyday someone else we were always finding new ways to discover each other and keep flowing as the waters of the world.

Yellow and Blue were you and I, a perfect match of emotions, love and loss, power and surrender.  
I’ve let you go, but I will never stop holding you close to my heart.

Dive into the waters

Amidst the world's rich splendor stands a melancholy figure - the Weeping Mother, a symbol of Nature's anguish. Her tears, like morning dew, fall for the careless destruction done by humanity, transforming colorful woodlands into empty echoes. Her soothing sighs are conveyed by the rustling leaves, and she is the source of caring and the ancient force that powers life. She, like Time, creates the centuries, yet her anguish extends beyond time itself. Listen to her screams so that our heedless deeds do not ruin the harmony of life.

Weeping Mother

This work draws inspiration from "The Birth of Venus" in art history to tell a story of embracing queer identity. The protagonist, a male-presenting Venus, represents the pride in embracing femininity, challenging traditional ideas of masculinity. His journey mirrors the struggles faced by many queer individuals as he emerged from a protective shell, symbolizing self-love.

The narrative explores the rejection and isolation experienced by the protagonist in his world, leading to a descent into the depths of despair. However, the ocean's submerged world welcomes him, embracing his unique identity. Among aquatic companions, he unveils his radiant self, becoming a shining symbol of acceptance for those who dare to be authentic.

Rising from the sea, his companions admire his courage, understanding that true beauty lies in diversity and self-acceptance. The artwork's iridescent blues and purples symbolize the mysticism of queerness, celebrating the journey towards embracing one's true self

Our fate was written by two moons, facing each other, and we were there, on that little house by the water, looking for a ship to run off with.

The Lucky Ones

This artwork is a love dedication to LGBTQIA+ youth, specifically Trans youth, in light of the distressing global events witnessed throughout 2023. I believe it is now essential to initiate a conversation on queer and trans representation. Since the inception of the LGBTQIA+ liberation movement, trans individuals and drag queens have stood at the forefront of the struggle for social change and human rights.  
I want to dedicate this work to the beating heart of the LGBTQIA+ community. 
The human figure in the center of the scene appears frightened, ensnared in thorny wires, unable to move—a metaphorical womb of creation. Their potential resides within, radiating like an artifact or gem in the dark. Their power emanates from within, and their truth is intrinsic. Surrounding them, nature is depicted as hostile—a desert, symbolizing the harsh reality our planet faces due to climate change, emphasizing the fear and terror experienced by youth in the face of natural calamities. There are multiple layers to unravel in this artwork; symbolism is employed to convey a message of condemnation regarding the type of support we should extend to youth, particularly queer youth. It highlights how the daunting reality we live in can significantly impact them.

The Good Side

Nostalgia is a powerful force that pulls at our emotions and reminds us of times gone by. It is frequently associated with the concept of architecture, which functions as a permanent testament to human life and creativity. Long after we have left this planet, our buildings and structures will be the last remaining artifacts of our existence. We desire to leave something behind, to anchor our legacy in the world, like a ship adrift in the sea of life.

Leave Something Behind

Dance with me, where we flow like water, a liquid embrace of serenity. Purify me, let the essence of our dance cleanse body and soul in the crystalline caress of spring water. The bell rings, resonating through the sacred space where my prayers unfurl like delicate petals, reaching the very core of my heart. In this dance of liquid grace and sacred echoes, we become one—a harmonious symphony of spirit and water, cleansing and renewal, resonating through the fluidity of existence.
