@Nikxname's For You.. Collection of digitally hand-painted roses—created using an iPad and the ProCreate app—is, in my opinion, truly great. Each of the 12 roses in the collection tells a story, and when combined, they form an even larger narrative. Not just the story of Nik, nor necessarily the story of his intentions, but something more personal—one that resonates deeply with me.
Romantic love with a "significant other" has not worked out for me in my life—at least, not in the decades I’ve lived so far. Two divorces, neither of them my choice. Lied to by both partners. The second divorce, which involved my true unconditional love—my son—nearly broke me emotionally. I won’t go into details, but the woman I once loved is not a kind person. I learned the hard way that love can be blind sometimes.
For me, Nik’s For You.. collection speaks to my experience in a profound way:
"Thorn & Silk" represents the pain that love has brought me.
"A World Beyond The Veil" signifies the feeling of being lost, searching for a light within my soul.
"World To My Heart" symbolizes rediscovering the joy of creating my personal art and setting it free into the world for others to enjoy, just as I do.
"Echo From Within" reminds me that love truly comes from within, and I strive to share that love with my son and the world—however much I can afford to give.
