"Conflicted"

We constantly have multiple circumstances pulling our attention and focus in different directions. There is a conflict of emotions caused by these various factors.

Yes, feel the emotions and express them, but move forward! We live a relatively short life and it would be a shame to waste it being dissatisfied. 

When I find myself in a state of turmoil, I look up and tell myself, "Do not be conflicted, life is too short to be unhappy."

I am thrilled to have you join me on my self-portrait journey, created to express not just impressed!

"Waiting For You"

She was contemplating as she sat, their love was rare, a bond that transcended distance and time.

Pure love, no words were needed to express how they felt. No matter what happened, she knew their love would remain true. It was the one thing she could hold on to, a love that would stand the test of time.

These were the thoughts running through her mind while she sat on the floor, by the door, waiting for her lover to arrive!

new beginnings sometimes bring the best changes to your life!

To start a new, letting go of the past is part of the journey. Letting go doesn't mean giving up, but rather accepting that there are things that are better just ahead. 

My encouragement; get excited for the NEW that’s around the corner. It might be uncomfortable at first, but may also be the best time of your life. Trust the journey!

New Beginnings

One of Normandy's famous landmarks, Mont Saint Michele, is beautifully located off the Northwestern coast of France. During the 14th century, a place of peace and war became a fairytale castle, now a miniature city within its borders.   

Due to its amazing panoramas, this breathtaking landscape has been captured by many photographers. I walked around the outside of the walls to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding the gates as well as the spectacular view of the Normandy coast from inside.

With its old structure from the 1500s, you are immediately drawn in, admiring the progress of the abbey as vehicles pass by. A long exposure montage of this scene was simply impossible to resist. The composition of automobiles leaving for the evening lighting the epic scene makes this image 'Castle In The Night' ever so striking!

The art of self-portrait is self-expression, exploring one's feelings and emotions through art. This is a very powerful way of expressing one's self and expressing one's emotions to others.  

The self-portrait journey was a way for me to express my artistic experimentation, and a way to share my creativity and vision explorations. I invite you into this photographic journey. My hope is that you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoyed experimenting!

Awaiting to see the sunrise over the Aegean sea, I witness the most beautiful pink views mixed with the clouds, over the Tholos Naftilos island. I added the stars making this piece magical.

"Into The Light" 

It is imperative to step into thought patterns that motivate us, bring about happiness, and keep our minds away from dark thoughts that bring our spirits down. 

When I see this image, I am reminded of the extent to which we are surrounded by darkness, and not just physically.

There is no doubt that our own thoughts are the biggest source of motivation. Despite not always being in the mood, thoughts become the biggest obstacle to living an enjoyable life. 

Consequently, my challenge is to think beyond ourselves and inspire ourselves in a way that leads us to achieve our best. Step into the light!

Into The Light

Lost in her inner thoughts, the weight of her emotions trapped her on a dark path. As she looked into the distance, she caught sight of a ray of light. It was like a beacon of hope in her despair, shining through the darkness that enveloped her. A glimmer of determination stirred within her - an urge to rise above the pain, circumstances, and uncertainty that had weighed her down.  

With tears still fresh on her face, she took a deep breath and steadied herself. The light gave her a moment of relief, a chance to catch her breath and gather her strength. Filled with a renewed sense of significance, love filled her heart. With each breath, she pulled herself together, drawing strength from hope and love. It was fierce, unbreakable love - the kind that conquered even the deepest fears and pains. She rose out of the darkness with renewed faith and a new sense of purpose!
