Two paths lead to a crossroad.  
What does the future hold?  
Crypto Art, and friendship foretold!

MTL x Miami aims to create an artistic crossroads from Montreal to Miami through the friendship of Anubis3100 and Andres Zighelboim. In the early summer of 2021, both artists took dashcam footage of their drives throughout the cities they reside in. These videos were then overlaid and combined to run both videos simultaneously. The resulting video was then fed into touchdesigner. Through the use of feedback filters, noise, and other operators, the video is transformed from simple dashcam footage to an ethereal, colorful, and otherworldly journey. The use of color and the ethereal aesthetic aims to symbolize the creation of this artistic crossroads. 4 videos were then exported through this process, showing the video at different stages of creation and utilization. Another symbol for the developing friendship between Anubis3100 and Andres Zighelboim. The exported videos were combined in a 2x2 grid surround by black boarders. The final symbol of the creation of the crossroads, through placing it within the work itself.

Everywhere, an empty bliss is a collection of works aiming to explore the connection between mental states, conditions, and faculties with architecture, more specifically brutalist architecture. 

The works draw upon my personal experiences with seeing psychologists and psychiatrists throughout my life. Alongside the urban hell that is modern Egyptian architecture. It became very clear to me once I had left Egypt to study for my BFA, that architecture plays a major unseen role within the mentality of the people that reside within it (This is especially present when one gazes upon brutalist architecture). These are my personal works attempting to flesh out the connections I have formed between my mentality and the architecture around me. 𓂀

Sadly this place is shutting down. 

In this weird fucked up sense. The outside appearance of the shop really aids the sense of closure. Do you think it started with the place looking like this and then shutting down? Or does it look like this because it is shutting down? 

Who knows? 

All I know is that this version of it will always remain in the ether.
