Impermanent Digital is a cult-classic AI project by the multi-talented visual artist, musician, music video director and cover artist known as Glassface. Season One, 4444 AI-evolved CryptoPunks, is one of the earliest PFP projects to use AI art (September 2021, second only to Bastard GAN Punks), giving owners the option to evolve their tokens through multiple phases or burn them into the Afterlife collection. Season Two (iDreamer), 3333 1/1 AI avatars, involved over 50 artists creating with what might have been the first ever text-to-image Discord bot, months before Midjourney. Season Three (2222glassfaces) is a collection of 2222 deepfakes and parodies of project founder Glassface, an ambitious post-photography project referencing hundreds of specific photography styles. Season Four will be the final collection from this initial four-season structure, with a supply of 1111 (details unknown at this time.)
Evolution Stage One. The genesis collection originally consisted of 4444 pieces in which Glassface used CryptoPunks as "init images" and "evolved" them with a wide variety of text-to-image prompts he had developed, which he termed "wavelengths." Minted September 2021.
