Innovation comes by breaking the rules. The future begins today.
When will you understand?
Art cannot be boring. Kids looking at their shoes in a museum is the death of art. Art needs to grab your eyeballs and squeeze them until your nipples tickle.
Art has to evolve.
From Gothic, to Baroque, to Realism, to Impressionism, to Expressionism...
It cannot stop!
AI Art is revolutionary
AI Art is controversial
AI Art is art
An artist promts an idea to the AI. And thus, it begins. The creator iterates on the input. Curates the best outputs. Sometimes, the final piece will be raw AI. Others, they will mix, post-process, add some personal touches...
In the end, you get an image that resonates with the artist soul and, hopefully, with yours.
— AI is creativity's best friend —
Look, AI is a revolution. And it's already here. You can either have a tantrum or embrace it.
Creatives from many sectors are using AI tools to improve their processes. They can do things they had only imagined before.
Art will always sell for a fortune and people won't get it. It has always happend and it's not changing now. People will complain about the prices of cryptopunks, artblocks... and yes, AI Art. It doesn't matter.
The good thing? It's early. So it's still not too expensive. AI Art is an infant. It's just beginning to explore what it can achieve. Just starting to move away from traditions. We're going through all the cliches. We're goint to see a lot of not-art. You can focus on that and repeat a thousand times that art need to be hand-made by humans. Or you can join the revolution.
Remember when you were a kid and painting was a game? I dare you to see it as that. Play with AI. See what you can make. Explore AI artist collections. Have fun looking at them.
At this point, AI art adoption is on the rise, but so is debate. If you just write what to create, and the AI crafts the image, is that art? And who is the creator? If you can create a beautiful, provocative, emotional image in 2 minutes, is that art? Does effort = value? Those who answer these questions will be the grails of these new movement.
"Even if a random kid with an AI and a little luck creates something iconic that touches millions of people - that would be great art ... but doesn't make that kid a great artist." Nikita

“I dream my painting and I paint my dream.” Vincent Van Gogh
“A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. When you always make your meaning perfectly plain you end up boring people” Edgar Degas
So what do you think? Is AR Art too radical for you? As an artist, are you willing to try a new tool? As a collector, can’t you feel the emotions?
Do you understand?
