As Dragons get older, their fur becomes more gray, typically seen going from left to right. You can spot a "very old" dragon by seeing most of the texture is greyed out
A Hazzy atmosphere creates diffraction of light as the dragon flies by. Look to Dry atmospheres for pieces with more crisp backgrounds
Environment refers to the background color. 33 very rare pieces have Aurora Borealis in the background, which is distinguished from the "Magical" category by looking for the Dragon to be moving in and out of the aurora (rather than it simply being on the tail).
134 have colored backgrounds which adds a lot of variety and depth to the pieces. The remainder are black and white.
Dragons with the Magical category have aurora like reflections and magical dots following them as they fly.
Silky refers to how thick and tangible the Dragon's fur appears - think purely textural
William brilliantly conceived of status. The one not shown is "Alive" which makes up the vast majority of the collection (494).
The way he thought about it, before we are anything we are a sketch or "Esquisse" (4 total) then we go to the womb and are undifferentiated, or "Raw" (5 total), we are then Alive, and finally die but Dragons do not disappear, they "Turned Gold" (6 total).
Poetic and beautiful, knowing the intention really improves a collector's connection to the art.
Below are the various types which correspond to different palettes.
One fun note, there was a bug in the code rendering some Dragons black and white despite the assigned Type. We went and found all of them and have compiled them here, happy hunting =) Dragons Hidden Features
Dragons are flying, and when they fly hot and fast the temperature becomes unstable. When that happens, the range of their colors really starts to show in the piece.
