The Linagee Name Registrar is the oldest known Smart Contract on the Ethereum Blockchain, created in August 2015. It serves as a decentralized naming registration system that allows users to register and manage unique names. The contract was published by an anonymous developer named Linagee. Although it initially received little attention, it later gained historical significance as one of the earliest examples of the use of Ethereum Smart Contracts for managing digital resources.
