"Midnight in Manhattan" the first piece of art in a series of city-inspired pieces. This work also led onto the concept for Efdot's first generative art project.

Shadows block the path forward. Creative courage is the only light to follow. Push through, break free and find your place within the chaos.

This artwork was originally started in 2019 on a trip to Mexico City and further expanded and refined in 2022.

With inspiration from MC Escher's famous tessellations, "Push Through" came out of Efdot's early explorations with the Blob forming positive and negative space, pre-dating the artist's work with color and abstraction.

"You, Me & Duality" is an evolution of Efdot's abstract Blob figures and patterns that he began developing in 2018.

The flowing textures and blue-green color palette are unique to this piece – each form within a form subtly shifting in harmony. The textures were hand-painted, and then digitally redrawn in Summer 2022.

This piece is an homage to the incredible architecture I observed on a trip through Lisbon, Milan and Florence in June 2023.

Created across these three different countries, "Sinfonia" draws upon details hidden in "Hazy Day" (1/1) – the second piece in the 'Cities' Series.

This animated piece was created during a time of reflection and reinvention, right before turning another year older.

Efdot’s signature Blob character in a state of relaxed contemplation has been previously exhibited in many forms. It has been worked into drawings, hand-painted murals, apparel, stickers and even illuminated in neon lights around the United States & Latin America. 

This is the first singular animated Blob by Efdot minted on the blockchain, and a precursor to the Blobs NFT series.

Blob / Day & Night

"IN MY HEAD / IN YOUR HEAD" is an original collaboration by Efdot and Stefan Matioc in their signature line-work styles.

This artwork features one head drawn by Efdot and one head drawn by Stefan. It explores the balance between the conversations that happen in your head versus those in the world around you. Feeling “in your head” is something we can all relate to and was the inspiration for this unique animated piece. 

Efdot and Matioc are long time collaborators, and this is their first ever entry into the NFT space.

"Knicks Court" was originally painted in 2023, over the course of four days at Childrens Village in Dobbs Ferry, NY. This project was made in collaboration with the New York Knicks and the Garden Of Dreams Foundation.

"Grow" was first painted in 2020 in Brooklyn, NY as a collaboration between Efdot and Jessie Mordine Young.  Later it was brought to life with frame-by-frame animation. Originally known as "Love to Watch You Grow", the mural was painted for a flower shop on the adjacent wall to "Look Out For Each Other".
