Dear Stoics,

As we celebrate our one year anniversary as a community I wanted to let you all know how incredibly grateful I am for each and every one of you. The resilience shown by this community is nothing short of inspiring. 

In the past year we have endured hacks, wars, FTX and Luna collapses, a mass exodus of Web3 artists, along with constant FUD from traditional media (see: headlines like “95% of NFTs are now worthless”). There have been countless times when it would have been easy to just blame someone or something outside of our control and leave Web3. Instead you have kept focusing on what was in your control, promoting great art, building new relationships, developing a culture that embraces technology and connection. 

As we enter year 2, I am more passionate than ever. I am excited to keep growing with all of you. I am excited to leverage our talents as a community to better the world. Please keep going. I want to hear your passions and ways we can help you along in your Web3 journey. When we stay connected we become an unstoppable force.

The Blame Game an Anti-Stoic Collection by Gabe Weis

This NFT was made as part of the Anti-Stoics on Nifty Gateway. 5 NFTs were burned so that I could have a conversation and create a 1/1 NFT for the burner. After having the conversation, and hearing about the amazing family of the burner, I wanted to create a piece that would reflect the incredible love that was obviously had by the father for his family of two daughters and a wife. To my luck, one of the burner's daughters is an extremely talented artists and poet and she agreed to help me in writing a poem and putting it in the background of the digital drawing I did of the family. The result is a collab with Laine Kibler that I love very much.

Just another week in crypto.  The one bright side is that The Everything Token came out this week, so ETF=Everything Token Fan and thus will lead to a 1/1 drawing inside of the amazing book by Steve Kaczynski and Scott Duke Kominers, signed by Steve.
