This painting is part of my new collection and also my entry for Art Basel Miami. The whole collection will be minted soon.

I always felt the similarities between the
historical women in the Persian culture and the women in
Kabuki. The female fight for the “Last Dance” and what
Iranian women has fought for through out history to express
their art, poems and literature is what I resembles in
my artworks.

[Kabuki is a classical form of Japanese theatre, mixing dramatic performance with traditional dance.]
