Iskra Velitchkova. a k a @Pointline - There's a funny story about Escape (exhibited below), if I meet you IRL, I'll tell you. There's also an emotional one that will stay between Iskra and I, and Didi (@lemonde2d), and a few bottles of champagne. Iskra is real. She speaks the truth. Her truth. I think she sees it clearly. Yet she is always in search of it. One of my favourite people.
BIO:
Iskra Velitchkova (b.1988) is a Bulgarian self-taught artist currently based in Madrid.
Her work explores the present and potential interactions between humans and machines and how instead of making technology more human, this relationship can push us to understand our limits better.
She believes that roots and tradition can nurture her work with greater truth. Bringing together her Balkan origins with the influence that Mediterranean culture has had on her over her own history, she uses this context for building upon her work. After a proven record on tech and artificial intelligence industry as visual thinker, Iskra decided to apply her knowledge and experience at the service of her own research.
Her work is based on mixed techniques: she explores new media combining digital formats and physical nature. She uses generative technology, artificial neural networks, plastic arts, she plots on canvas and plays with clay.

Marcelo Soria-Rodríguez (@msoriaro) is an eclectic artist, strategist, and thinker whose work seamlessly blends artistic expression, technological innovation, and philosophical inquiry. Through generative art, music, photography, and interactive experiences, Marcelo explores profound ideas about human emotion, our relationship with technology, and the balance between individuality and the collective.
For me though, Marcelo isn’t just the words of his own bio—he’s the person whose art first moved me deeply, and then the man himself moved me more. Marcelo is a rare blend: deeply philosophical yet effortlessly jovial, critically insightful yet warm and approachable. He is a truly positive force in the digital art world, and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to spend time in his company. The world is richer—and certainly more fun—with Marcelo in it. I have a lot of love for this man.
Sarah Ridgley. Did you know that Sarah is an OG Punk? Neither did I until I met her in Miami. It was not until @brtmoments Paris that we met again and this time managed to squeeze in dinner and a couple of drinks with her roommate @carreras_anna. By the end of the trip, all three of us were in an elite group of losers 😜. Anna and I lost everything pretty early (phones, wallets, bags etc) and then Sarah, clearly feeling left out, went one better than us and lost her passport! Sticking with clouds, this one had a silver lining in that she got to enjoy Paris for a few more days. Sarah's first long form project - Himinn, minted on @artblocks_io, stood out to me as different at the time, a project that explored organic and natural structures. I minted #462 back then and am constantly drawn back to gaze at these beautiful works. I've found Sarah to be a really genuine and kind individual. Great fun, and a bundle of laughs. She gives the impression of massively enjoying life as a full-time artist and this shines through with her positive outlook on life when you meet her.
In her own words "All my work is the result of highly-ordered chaos". I hope to meet Sarah again in the future and collect more of her orderly chaos results.
Sarah Ridgley is a generative artist based in the USA.
Her work focuses on reflecting the human hand in collaboration with the computer in a completely code-driven way.

***WIP*** Zancan. I met Michaël first in Miami but got to know him better @brightmoments Tokyo (in an English pub in Shibuya of all places!). A beautiful and complex soul, Zancan strikes me as someone who really cares. He cares about the environment, he cares about his family, he cares about his friends and his collectors. He cares about his art. You get the sense that he cares more than most. What I admire about him is his radical honesty. If he feels it, he says it. He pioneers, is different, and does not follow the crowd. They (we?) tend to follow him. I look forward to meeting him again and continuing to collect his masterpieces.
BIO: Michaël Zancan is an artist from Bordeaux, France, who has worked as both an oil painter and a creative programmer since the early ‘90s.
In 2021, he discovered the ideals of decentralization in blockchain technology and, in NFTs, a tool that challenges the art market and gives artists and collectors the ability to connect and the freedom to invest in art and engage in social projects without prejudice or intermediaries.
Zancan practices a genre of art that he describes as ‘generative-figurative,’ with a focus on rendering nature using computer code and mathematical formulas. His "Garden, Monoliths" (I don't have one...yet) and "Lushtemples" series encourage discussions about virtuous and toxic interactions between technology and the natural world.

ciphrd (cipher the world). A generative artist & WebGL / front-end developer particularly interested in the exploration of autonomous systems from which life-like behaviors emerge. He is constantly exploring new ways to create intimate & memorable experiences, both on the web & in his art (assuming the latter wouldn’t fit along the former). He loves to push technical & creative boundaries on each medium he works with. Oh there's also the small matter of him being the Founder and creative force behind @fx_hash_!!! I've been lucky enough to meet ciphrd for the odd dinner and drink, I can't quite put my finger on it, but he is something special. He feels like the future. As a lover of art you can escape in, I find ciphrd's art mind-blowing. Take your time with the RGBs below, then hit live mode to experience the rest of his work in its full glory.

Misaki Nakano, a programmer who creates visual art with algorithms and mathematics, is involved in creating interactive visual art using websites and installations,as well as research and development of Web XR and simulations.
Thanks to (yep you guessed it) @brightmoments, I had the honour of minting 2nd behind @karatekid , in Sputniko's 'Nursery' womb installation, with the artist! A magical moment, with the works inspired by her own pregnancy and childbirth. Since being present for the birth of this art, I have watched them grow and evolve, i've come back regularly to gaze and interact. Best of all though, the minting experience will forever be attached to the art. #memories #moments

William Mapan is an artist, coder and teacher based in Paris, France. While he primarily works with computers and code, his curiosity leads him to explore a wide range of different media and techniques. A central tenant to Mapan's practice is his attempt to inject a sense of humanness into the algorithms that drive his generative art. Through his use of organic forms and rich textural elements, Mapan seeks to bridge the gap between the artificial and the human, creating works that are both technically impressive and emotionally resonant.
I first met William thanks to @Proofofgail who took us to dinner after a show in London. Upon arrival at the after dinner drinks, William promptly demanded that everyone order two drinks because the bar was closing soon. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) that was my round! I got to know William a little better in Paris, Venice, and then London again since- thanks in part to his membership of the "French Cabal". A stellar group of French artist and collector friends. Aside from painting and sketching in code, William takes the best selfies.
Loren Bednar is a generative artist renowned for blending colors and emotions in innovative ways. Without a traditional art background, he embraced technology early on, using LOGO as a teenager to craft geometric patterns and later exploring Flash and math-based design to produce his initial generative art. His journey into the digital art world was serendipitous, discovering the crypto art and NFT scene in January 2021, which led him to Art Blocks and a transformative period of creation and exposure.
Bednar's work, characterized by a fondness for "broken things," explores the beauty of unexpected malfunctions and the organic interplay of ideas, often resulting in art that feels more natural and less constrained by mathematical rigidity. His projects, such as "Traversals" and "phase," exhibit a fascination with interference patterns and the dynamic potential of generative art. Each piece in his series is distinct, reflecting his belief in the vast visual range achievable through the same mathematical foundations.
Bednar's art is a testament to the explorative spirit and the blend of technology with artistic vision. His journey from experimenting in his youth to becoming a prominent figure in the NFT space showcases the evolving landscape of art and how digital platforms can unveil new realms of creativity. He remains active on social media platforms like Twitter, engaging with the community and sharing his ever-evolving practice.
Lauren Lee McCarthy is an artist examining social relationships in the midst of automation, surveillance, and algorithmic living. She expanded on this work in her role from 2015–21 on the Board of Directors for the Processing Foundation, whose mission is to serve those who have historically not had access to the fields of technology, code, and art in learning software and visual literacy. Lauren is a Professor at UCLA Design Media Arts. She holds an MFA from UCLA and a BS Computer Science and BS Art and Design from MIT.
Kim Asendorf. In a slightly embarrassing turn of events (for me), I got to know Kim before I knew he was Kim 😅. Luckily this resulted in a great bond, and we went on to have an amazing time in Tokyo. The bright moment at Womb, raving to our favourite tunes with his art on the big screen, will live long in the memory.
Born in the same year, Kim and I share a passion for the same music, which is maybe a product of our age and environments (The homes of D&B in the 90's - Bremen + London). Alternate (exhibited below, requires 'render live' mode) is heavily inspired by Kim's obsession with electronic music, especially the group Altern8!
BIO: Kim Asendorf is a German visual artist who works with conceptual strategies and generative systems to create abstract animations, images and sculptures. The pixel is the main building block in Asendorf's work, seemingly alive in his abstractions, or rearranged in his iconic Pixel Sorting aesthetics.
His abstract visual systems are conceptually set and realized in algorithms that are open to a wide range of interpretations. He is working on a per-pixel level to create worlds that mix simplicity with complexity, that never sleep, and that can put the viewer in a mesmerizing state. He loves to experiment, is driven by curiosity, and finds satisfaction when the results of his work surprise himself. With roots in Net Art, he likes to keep his work easily accessible, and the Internet is his favorite canvas.
More recently, Kim joined forces with Andreas Gysin and Leander Herzog to create AGH. For me, this collaboration with two other powerhouses of digital art, and their inaugural event AGH 1, feels like an important moment. Roll on AGH 2!
Andreas Gysin. My new claim to fame is that I drank an Andreas (A cocktail named in his honour @brtmoments Paris) with Andreas! That night ended up being the highlight of the week for me and I have sought out Andreas IRL ever since. He has a wicked sense of humour and an originality about him that is unmatched. I had to laugh when Andreas said he thought I was a party beast, don't be fooled by his quiet demeanour, Andreas knows how to party too!
Special mention to @ballislife_tezeth / @delta_alpha_ohm who gifted me Towers (exhibited below -> pls run live), another great human bean!
Andreas Gysin's work brings together graphics, animation and creative coding to develop custom programs oriented toward a different output according to the medium chosen.
Born in 1975 in Zürich, Switzerland, lives and works in Lugano. Andreas is also half of the duo Gysin-Vanetti which was listed among “Collection Cahiers d’Artistes” by Pro Helvetia in 2013. His art practice focuses mainly on kinetic and interactive programs, objects and installations.
The visual characteristics and configurations (color, form) and the internals (mechanics, electronics) are the center aspects of his work which began in 2007 by designing and programming a custom-built split-flap display. Later this approach extended to other signage systems and objects, kinetic and static. An important aspect of the work is the displacement and the reconfiguration of these informative elements, removing the original function but enabling a different and new reading of the forms.

Leander Herzog. A giant of an artist and a man, in stature, in character, in talent, and in nature. I was lucky enough to be introduced to lennyjpg by Kim at a chance meeting in London. It was there that I found out Leander also has a giant sense of humour. My kind of person. BIO: Leander Herzog is a distinguished visual and generative artist from Switzerland, renowned for his real-time animations and web-based art. His works delve into the complexities of digital ownership and often echo themes from contemporary art history while critically examining the pervasive influence of technology. Herzog's creations have graced prominent venues like Transmediale Berlin, DAM Gallery, Kunsthaus Pasquart, and HEK in Basel. His innovative art has been acquired by prestigious institutions including ZKM Karlsruhe and Francisco Carolinum Linz. Moreover, Herzog frequently collaborates with other artists and has contributed to projects for the Whitney Museum and HEK Basel. https://leanderherzog.ch/
Helena Sarin a k a Neural Bricolage. A visual artist, software engineer and maker (she likes to call herself the engineering artist), Helena Sarin has always been working with cutting edge technologies, first at Bell Labs, designing commercial communication systems, and for the last few years as an independent consultant, developing computer vision software using deep learning. While she has always worked in tech, Helena has been doing commission work in watercolor and pastel as well as in the applied arts like fashion, food and drink styling and photography.
But art and software ran as parallel tracks in her life, all her art being analog... until she discovered GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks). Since then generative models became her primary medium.
She is a frequent speaker at ML/AI conferences, for the past year delivering invited talks at MIT, Library of Congress and Capitol One.
Her artwork was exhibited at AI Art exhibitions in Zurich, Dubai, Oxford, Shanghai, Lutz, Zaragoza, Miami, and was featured in number of publications including twice in the “Art In America” magazine.
When pretty much all of her 2020 exhibitions and talks were cancelled or postponed indefinitely, Helena used the time of lockdown as an opportunity to work on a few artists books, each featuring her AI artwork.
Since 2021 her main creative energy is directed towards the #potteryGAN - making ceramics using her GAN/AI work as designed to 3D functional objects.

Ganbrood. I met Bas, a k a Ganbrood, @brtmoments London in 2022, and have got to know him and his lovely family better in the years since. I have a lot of time for this man and will take the liberty of calling him a friend now. One reflection when putting this gallery together is that I don't own enough of his art! I plan to correct this asap.
Ganbrood, is an artist from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, born in 1968. With a background in special effects, 3D animation, video games, and photography, he has always been involved in visual storytelling that imitates and distorts reality. Since 2019, he has been working with generative adversarial networks (GANs), a type of AI that interprets and synthesizes photographs. Using these neural networks, he creates portraits of people who lived before the camera was invented or who never existed. Since early 2021, Uterwijk has been minting Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the Tezos blockchain. His recent works are abstract, "pseudo-figurative" pieces that explore GANs' creativity and their impact on human visual recognition.
Ivona Tau. A look at the artwork below and you may assume that I have been following Ivona around the world to mint her art with her IRL. Well, you wouldn't be far off from the truth. I got to know Ivona first in Berlin thanks to @maltefr_eth, who kindly took us to dinner after Ivona's exhibition. What I immediately loved about her was the depth of her thinking, her obviously huge brain, and her view on pushing the boundaries of AI art with her practice. Since that first meeting, i've been lucky to share a few drinks and good times with her and her friends around the world. From recommending tattoo friendly onsen to me in Japan (not an easy find), to drinking fishbowls in Miami, Ivona is a rarity. Equally adept at serious, philosophical, deep conversation while also not taking herself too seriously and being super fun. I look forward to doing more of the same in the years ahead.
Dr. Ivona Tau is a generative A.I. artist from Vilnius, Lithuania, who works with neural networks and code as a medium in experimental photography and motion painting. Her goal is to find and evoke emotions through artificially intelligent tools. She creates universally relatable memories by transforming her experiences captured on analog and digital film through generative neural networks (GAN).
Tau comes from the intersection of arts and technology, with 15 years of combined experience in professional photography and A.I. research. She was awarded the best award in the Digital Ars 2020 contest for art created with AI, the Computer Animation category award in Computer Space International Computer Art Forum 2021, and elected as one of the TOP 10 Women in AI 2022 by the Women in Tech Foundation.
Tau’s work has been exhibited widely, including Art Basel Miami Beach, SCOPE, CAFA, Art Week Shenzhen, Vellum, Bitforms New York, Venus Over Manhattan, The House of Fine Art, Bright Moments Berlin, Christie's New York and Sotheby’s New York.
Ivona Tau is active in the research community and holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. She published multiple scientific papers in the field of Computer Vision and Artificial Neural Networks. Currently represented by MTArt Agency.
rudxane. No one knows what the name rudxane stands for or means, not even rudxane 😆, and we wouldn't have it any other way! I have had so many fun times with this man I could write a short novel on the subject. Someone I call a mate, rudxane has seen me lose my shit all over the world (by shit I mean bags, phones, wallets, fxhash cap etc). Throughout it all we've had huge smiles on our faces, mainly because rudxane brings the vibe. Aside from the good times, as an artist he consistently challenges the status quo. Fellow collectors would do well to follow his moves as he is typically early to everything. I love learning from him and listening to him describe the work that goes into his art. He even taught my mum about generative art and NFTs! My sense is rudxane would get bored if he was not trying something new, or at least working on something very meaningful to him. A top top man, you have to share a beer with him if you have not already - oh and collect his art of course!
rudxane is a visual artist from Amsterdam, working on small interactive websites and code based art since the 90s. Currently exploring the interplay of artist/machine through the generative medium by introducing human characteristics in a generative system.
Fingacode...***WIP***
I hope this gallery tells a story. Of artists and their art. Of collecting and experiencing it with them. A story about a special moment in time. A bright moment. A moment that was lived.

Ana Maria Caballero - @AnaMariaCaballero. I have trusted Ana with my daughter's life! That's how much of a special person I think Ana is. She's small in frame, but it takes just 5 minutes in her company for you to feel her huge force. Ana and I are very different. We both like to rise early in the day, get some sun and exercise (Ana has more sun that I do Madrid vs London), but Ana also quite likes an early night. This artist single handidly ignited an interest in poetry within me, something my mum is pretty pleased about. Ana did that with a gesture, and attention to detail that is almost unheard of in today's digital world. A signed, dedicated book, posted from the US to London at her own cost, with a note that I will treasure (keeping that one just for me sorry) after a meeting organised by the one and only @Proofofgail. It wasn't until Menorca 2024 though that I got to spend quality time with her and understand a tiny bit more about her massive drive, dedication to her craft, and insatiable appetite for human connection. I feel Ana's super power, whether she knows it or not, is her ability to impact you positively, and raise you up. I repeat - A special individual.
