This Generative system came about when I started studying Fractals, Recursions and L-System. I was creating Fractal Trees when I decided to change the line for points and play with the "branches" angles.

My first render of this oceans Series. This generator uses ellipses and generate them on the horizon and squashes them as they descend. they move from left to right according to Perlin noise value. The clouds are made with the same system, albeit going up instead and with different colors.  20x30 inches at 300 DPI.

During my search for Corals I stumbled upon an unknown species. I was drawn to it, Maybe it's those lights, slowly drifting away along the slow movement of the abyss. As I got closer, I realized it was an enormous coral formation, the bulb were standing on top of impressive arms. It's probably a type of Anemonae. For documentation purposes I will name it Abyssus Lampadis ( the lamp of the abyss ). the lamps seems to emit a sound, some type of music... I need to go closer to make sure...

Abyssys Lampadis is the third and final piece of the Corals series.

001 - November Blues

Paresthesia is a tickling sensation that often occurs on our feets when we've been sitting for too long. Made this collection while fighting the November blues. The NFT scene moves so fast that I felt paralysed and I my brain "sat" for too long.

This pattern is filled with nostalgia. It instantly reminded me of this old velvet couch from the 90's that is still lingering in my parents basement.

This project is part of #genuary32nd, and it is a modified version of day 11, which focused on the art movement of Suprematism and the works of Kazimir Malevich. In this project, I have explored and studied this movement, and added collision detection to create block structures, rather than keeping it simple. I have also developed texturing for both the background and each shape. The name of this piece comes from the fact that I was supposed to release it back in early February, but I kept adding stuff and optimizing it. It is also named after one of the most underrated comedies of the last decade.

Never Stop Never Stopping

Leptogorgia virgulata, commonly known as the sea whip or colorful sea whip, is a species of soft coral in the family Gorgoniidae. It is found growing on rocks at depths down to 20 metres (66 ft) along the western fringes of the Atlantic Ocean, commonly found on the coastal shelfs of Southern states and on rock and limestone edges.[7] The range extends from Chesapeake Bay south to the Gulf of Mexico and the species also occurs in Brazil.[5] It is found on shallow water reefs, and also in estuaries and bays as it can tolerate low levels of salinity,[6] but it typically prefers high salinity environments.

I made this piece while exploring a simple growth system but this time I used Perlin Noise for the rendering of the corals. It is part 2 of a series of 3 of this series.

Building stuff is neat but breaking stuff is how you'll find a new path. A explorative study about finding new paths to make the good stuff.

I wanted to test out new ways to create artworks with nice palettes. I got this idea from a Joshua Davis(Praystation) talk about path finding. The idea behind this is to use png gradient as a colour scheme. 

I created some simple random walker with  some basic shapes from p5.js. Upon the creation of each walker, there is a condition with three outcomes. Each of the outcomes select one of the three swatches and map it to the height of the canvas. Every steps the walker takes, it changes it's colour according to where it's positioned on the swatch array.

"Aweille!" is a small collection that I decided to put together in the last two hours of a single afternoon.

It is a study in exploration, accepting imperfection and delivering a project in a restrained timeframe.

I used noise and some really stretched out ellipse to create the composition. I also added some texturing to give it a bit of Oompf.

Le Superviseur is a generative artwork where particles are guided by Perlin noise and certain trigonometric functions (sine, cosine). It presents a wavy and colorful field of flux. Within this field, nodes in the shape of attentive eyes emerge. The artwork explores the interaction between observation and perception. Vibrant and dynamic, it invites contemplation on the nature of surveillance and our ability, as human beings, to discern patterns in abstract compositions. The patterns created using trigonometric sine functions offer a multitude of artistic possibilities. By utilizing these functions, it is possible to generate complex patterns that evoke natural forms such as waves, spirals, mandalas, and much more.The creative use of trigonometry in generative art offers an infinite exploration of mathematical aesthetics, where the resulting patterns can inspire awe through their beauty and complexity.

This collection features 10 artworks made in pair by 5 different algorithm. This collection was exhibited at La Korrigane in Quebec City during the summer of 2023. 

All pairs of artworks uses Perlin Noise as the main algorithmic foundation and shows how a similar techniques can yield such different results.

The concept of EX-LIBRIS came to life just days before my long pilgrimage to the Art Blocks Marfa Weekend back in September. Out of this initial batch, only 32 bookmarks were created. What began as an intention to craft charming mementos for a select circle of online friends swiftly evolved into a revelation of the creative potential inherent in this unique format.

These meticulously designed bookmarks, infused with a thirst learning and self actualization,  served as more than just a placeholders within pages. They encapsulated a narrative of artistic exploration, self-discovery, and interpersonal connections. It was at this moment that the decision to immortalize this project on the blockchain took hold.

EX-LIBRIS captures the essence of a singular moment in time—a moment where I found my tribe as an artist. With an ethos rooted in uniqueness and individuality, each holder will have the opportunity to redeem their bookmark (or set) after minting, providing a tangible and signed testament to this distinct artistic endeavor. All bookmarks will be signed and printed on Epson Cotton High-Quality Rigid Paper.

To activate the dashboard in the live view, simply press the ‘i’ icon located in the top right corner. This will grant you access to controls for a couple of quality-of-life settings post mint. Each option can be modified using the keyboard or by clicking/tapping the corresponding button on the dashboard.

There are two types of modifiable settings available.

The first set is the "print" settings. This allows modification for printing elements such as margins, resolution, and format ratio. Upon clicking the download button, the output will reflect these changes. Below is the list of print settings along with their keyboard activation key.

"STARMAP" serves as an homage to the captivating mysticism of the cosmos and the insidious fear that accompanies the exploration of the unknown. This artwork invites viewers to embark on a cosmic journey, celebrating the vastness of the universe.

The artworks shows the perspective of a space cartographer, alone and fully committed to charting the vastness of the cosmos. The explorer is never shown; instead, the viewer shares his perspective, experiencing both the awe of discovery and the profound feeling of solitude in a place far greater than us.

This generative collection conveys the profound sentiment that returning home is never guaranteed. As the explorer delves deeper into the cosmos, a sense of wonder and curiosity becomes entwined with feelings of isolation and the weight of emptiness that begins to envelop them. It encapsulates the paradox of discovery mingled with the fear of losing connection with the familiar—a dichotomy resonating within every soul, akin to the emotions associated with significant life changes.

TRACES is a multi-artist collaboration. It is part of the Interfaces project which bridges the world of dance and generative art. The interfaces team motion-captured dance choreography using ml5.js. All choreography where the converted into a json file which mapped all the limbs and movement from the dancers into javascript object. It's kind of a coordinate system.

Using this, I was able to use the data to paint on a digital canvas using a particle system but instead of having all the particles starting on a random place on the canvas, they’re divided into nodes. These nodes match the limbs of the dancers. For example I mostly uses the Head, Wrist,Shoulder, knees and feets as starting point for the particles. When I start generating an output, the particles start from these points.

I'm also using a MIDI controller where I mapped the size, hue, saturation and brightness on the 4 top knobs and mapped all the frames from the dance on each of the 4 sliders. So 1 slider is really 1/4th of the whole sequence. So using this I could influence what was happening on the screen but still left the particles free to do their thing while moving the dancer on the timeline.

Traces (from the Interfaces exhibit)

Refractal is a collection of generative works created by feeding p5.js sketches into custom GLSL shaders. The base compositions—structured, often minimal—are refracted through shader code that distorts, bends, and fragments the original forms.

What emerges is a dialogue between order and entropy: grids collapse into waves, noise becomes structure, and light is broken into chromatic interference. The name blends refraction and fractals, pointing to recursive transformations and visual mutations.

Each piece captures a frozen moment in a live feedback loop—an image in tension between clarity and madness.

These timed open editions feature pre‑rendered p5.js + GLSL algorithmic artworks. Each work delivers one‑of‑a‑kind generative patterns, mintable only within its set time window.
