elcome to my gallery, dear visitor. This space is a celebration of a very special type of Chromie Squiggle called a harmonic.

n order to fully experience this gallery, we must interact with the Chromie Squiggles. For each Chromie Squiggle we come to, you'll need to first click once to start the animation. Try it on the image above. Ooooh!

o what makes a Chromie Squiggle a harmonic? Well first, we have to know about the background colors. Remember how we clicked once on the first Chromie Squiggle? This time, after we click, let's change the background color by hitting the spacebar one time.

oah! The Chromie Squiggle's gray shell disappeared! And there you have it. Harmonics are ribbed Chromie Squiggles whose white/ gray/ black coloring perfectly matches one of the preset background colors. To see this one disappear, just hit spacebar twice.

his one disappears after hitting the space bar three times, and so on. The final command to know for interacting with Chromie Squiggles is hitting the up/down keys. This will change the animation's speed. Don't forget to use your spacebar as we proceed. 😁

f you ever want to verify whether a Chromie Squiggle is a harmonic or not, you need the rib's color value. This number is a bit tricky to tease from the contract code, but fortunately it is provided by the wonderful tool [Filter Blocks](https://filter-blocks.netlify.app/token/206). For this Chromie Squiggle we see Ribbed: Color: 150

he background colors are 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, and 255. So if the rib's color is exactly one of these, it's a harmonic.

hat are the chances that a Chromie Squiggle will be a harmonic? Very low! That is because each ribbed Chromie Squiggle is assigned a color between 0 and 255, but only those perfectly matching one of the 11 background colors are harmonics. So far, only 34 harmonics have been minted!

he first mention of harmonics as a concept was by collector @waif in the #snowfro channel of the Art Blocks discord. They were the first to discover them all and make a list. Shortly thereafter, Snowfro remarked, "I should call those 'harmonics'."

he first harmonic is #80. The only perfect black is #290. There are three perfect whites: #3960, #5221, and #5850. There are two HyperRainbow harmonics: #5221 and #8732. The last harmonic minted was #8732.

f the six types of Chromie Squiggles, ribbed was the last one to be named. Snowfro wanted to give them a name other than "segmented", because segments was already the name of the lateral lines. "Wrapped" and "sheathed" were considered before collector @Raster Eyes proposed "ribbed."
