Running Moon is inspired by the colorful fragmentation of stained glass and watercolors to visualize the light effects between clouds and moonlight
Running Moon is defined by an underlying basis that is fragmented by the "Segmentation Method", this one is called "Compass"
"Ruler" creates a very variable and dynamic grid
"Eraser" creates a loose structure with triangles and mostly preserves the underlying round base shapes
"Mat" creates expanding rectangles
"Sharpener" often looks like an arrow or an Peackock spreading its tail
"Pencil" produces a grid with more differently sized rectangles
A "brush" segmentation often has a flow while also some chessboard-like grids
"Roller" creates linear grids, sometimes with only horizontal or vertical lines
Behind the grid is the expansion shape, called "Mode" - It is changed by all traits but defines the underlying shape, This one is called "Nostalgia Cloud" and is recongizeable because of the round circles
"Moonlit tear" also shows round shapes but in less perfect circles and with a more opulent expanding bouquet
"Lost in the Drizzle" shows a more tight bouquet, that resembles the blossom of a rose or a vortex
"Sleepless Rain" combines oval shapes and bended background layers
"Disappearing Wave" uses a complex combination of semicircles
"Before Eclipse" shows detailed layers of flowery shapes
"Starlight in your Eyes" is very complex too, showing an expanding flurry of oval shapes
"Fragile Crescent" offers flexible shapes, which might resemble floating water drops
"Crystal Wind" starts with very detailed small shapes and expands into a bigger mixture of circles and ovals
"Queen of the Night" might be better distinguishable due its peackock-feather-looking shapes
Several other traits influence the final piece, defining the flow of the basis, the contrast and brightness
"Limited iteration" decreases the expansion and often produces very individual pieces
But most often it is just the combination of colors and the randomization of the algorithm that let pieces stick out
Creating very different pieces, even with a great overlap in traits
Running Moon is complex and I advise to just search for a piece that one enjoys most
The project uses 36 different "Color Schemes", here are "Attention" & "Candle"
