The *TimeSync* series focusses on one of photography’s greatest strengths - capturing moments in time - and takes it to the next level. This photograph evolves in the course of a day based on the viewer’s local time and therefore is blending a full day into one NFT. **The City** is the fourth piece in this collection. 

 *New York City* - the city that never sleeps. There's no better place to venture off the familiar landscapes and capture the changing lights in a new, the urban, environment. I chose this particular viewpoint because it's such a special one for taking in the sights and sounds of the metropolis. First, the clock of nature still dominates via the rising and setting sun - stimulating higher or lower activity levels in the seagulls that call this pier home. It's also a wonderful place to see people, helicopters, yachts and ferries coming and going like ebb and flow. Then, when the natural light fades, the artificial neon, LED and fluorescent ones appear and create their own magic. Such a wonderful choreography - now able to come to live again and again via this fourth *TimeSync* piece.

My 2nd NFT is inspired by evening drives through beautiful landscapes (and a TV series from the 80s almost everyone on this planet is familiar with).

The path up to the lookout was barely existent and there was almost not enough room for a tripod. I still got lucky that night with a beautiful sunset and I want to convey the feeling with this NFT.

100% of initial proceeds will be donated to Rewilding Argentina, a foundation doing awesome things for keeping our planet a healthy one.

Night Rider

This photograph evolves in the course of a day based on the viewer’s local time and therefore is blending a full day into one NFT. **The Window** is the third piece in this collection. 

 *Tre Cime di Lavaredo* are a world famous and epic mountain range between the South Tyrol and Belluno provinces of Italy. The peaks reach heights between 2857m to 2999m and are famous for a reason - as the Northern facade seen in this image is arguably one of the most picturesque and memorable view of the whole Alps mountains. This place wasn't always as peaceful as today, though. During World War I, caves like the one used here for framing were actually part of the Alpine War fought between Italy and Austria. The goal of this third piece in the *TimeSync* series is therefore to be a reminder of how important peace is for our enjoyment of natural beauty

There are few places on Earth where our planet's history is as tangible as in the Dolomites.
It's hard to imagine that those rugged cliffs reveal what 250 million years ago was actually a coral reef, formed in the primordial ocean called Tethys.
The tectonic shifts caused Earth's surface to push together and lift the layers up for millions of years. They now offer a glimpse into prehistoric times, perfectly on display in the mountains of Seceda.

First Light

 **Alpine Summer** shows one of my favorite places to observe the seasons and how they impact our environment. While in winter, the sun almost doesn't find its way onto those meadows surrounded by steep mountains such as Zugspitze, it's from May to July that it really shows off its colorful side. Since ages, farmers have taken care of the meadows by hand - and in doing so, allowing plants such as wild orchids, flour primroses and alpine butterwort to flourish.

TimeSync | Alpine Summer

Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields were built by hand about 650 years ago, along a slope winding from the riverside up the mountain to about 1000 metres above sea level. 

Not only the resemblance of a dragon hidden underneath the ground but also a genius watering system make it one of the world's most beautiful and impressive feats of human labor. 

This is a scene from the middle of the night but you can still see the headlights of people working in the fields.

Sleeping Dragon

The *TimeSync* series focusses on one of photography’s greatest strengths - capturing moments in time - and takes it to the next level. This photograph evolves in the course of a day based on the viewer’s local time and therefore is blending a full day into one NFT. **Smoky Mountain** is the second piece in this collection. 

 You can't reach Argentina's beautiful mountain village El Chalten without a 4 hour drive. The last few hours on Ruta Provincial (RP)23, however, are passing by in the blink of an eye. Reason is that they are accompanied by the majestic views of El Chalten's namesake mountain. 'Chaltén' means smoky mountain in the Aonikenk language of the ancient Tehuelche people. Seeing and capturing it as cloud-free as this over a course of 24 hours is a very rare and equally magnificent sight. Bringing those moments back to life is the goal of this second piece in the *TimeSync* series

You will always see things that might stop you, bring you down or prevent you from doing something. 
Focus on the opposite, the bright ideas, the things that move you forward - no matter how fleeting those might be and how uphill the battle might feel. Those are the moments to strive for and cherish.
