Pixel Relics: ReduXcopy

“Pixel Relics: ReduXcopy” is a reimagining of the calm, minimal structures found in early on-chain pixel art. Each original pattern is dissected into elemental parts and then fed through a system that embraces both order and chaos. The quiet geometry that once defined the early pixel era is now thrown into a kind of pixel laundry, washed, scrambled, stretched and reassembled into new forms that feel half familiar and half unhinged. This project is a respectful nod to XCOPY’s early on-chain experiments while clearly standing on its own as a remix of structure, symmetry and glitchy intuition. Nothing here imitates the artist. Instead it extends the idea that a pixel can be both memory and mutation, a relic of what came before and a new signal on Shape Network.
