The very first Punk I could recognize. The very first person I followed on Twitter. 6529 was my gateway into the amazing world of NFTs and to the destruction of my portfolio.
Xcopy's only un-ironically optimistic 1/1 (that I can think of). Summer.jpg is a still and this let's us take it in more than the more common quick, flashy animations. I imagine X drew this in the first moment that he realized hwgmi.
This is the piece that started Seerlight's amazing run in which he made 7 consecutive ATH sales after 6529 started and won a bidding war. Seerlight is the best NFT artist on the planet imho. His work is not just technically top top level but it is all vibe too. And he has the best TikTok in NFTs.
A rare departure from Mr. Cherniak's usual generative style. Rare Pepes has become a historic collection and this one stands out. Pepe has some how become the Mickey Mouse of our time. He popped up out of the collective unconscious. I wonder how he will be explained in art class 150 years from now?
This is one of the fattest squigs I've ever seen. I didn't get squigs at first but when I did I started laughing. I knew that this ingenious moment in art history was going to get relentlessly mocked and slandered by the outside world for being non-sense. And I think that's one of the parts about generative art that its collectors love most.
Capsule House was the first 10k project I aped into. I caught the FOMO bug real bad and bought this little waifu for 1e at the tippy top. Less than .1 now. It hurts to get rekt but it's fun to remember we all have war stories from the very first NFT bubble and bust. (Still bullish on CH too.)
