Art Blocks Curated Set
Perfect Spectrum minted on the first day of Art Blocks. Squiggles are the creation of Art Blocks founder Snowfro. This is the drop that started my gen art obsession. Only 22 perfect spectrum squiggles currently exist, with 4 minted on the first day. A perfect spectrum squiggle displays all 256 color hues exactly once. Only a single combination of color spread, segments and steps between segments will produce a perfect spectrum output. "Consider each my personal signature as an artist, developer, and tinkerer." -Snowfro
"Something that I love about Genesis #183 is the strikingly sharp triangle shapes at the center of the composition, which makes this mint immediately identifiable to me. The shapes made by the two triangles remind me of similar symbols I’ve seen on space (as in outer-space) related insignia… From Star Trek’s Starfleet, to the NASA logo, and even to the new emblem for the United States Space Force. There is something astronomical about this mint. Looking behind the triangles, I can see that this

Construction Token #284 and #365 by Jeff Davis Series #1 Minted 11/27/2020 Artacle rarity rank #1/500
Construction Token was the first drop to sell out on Art Blocks on the first day of Art Blocks as a platform. Of the 500 Construction tokens minted, only these 2 complementary variants exist. "......the fact that they are both the same pair of colors is really odd too. Each could have used a complementary pair of hues from any part of the color wheel. Just happenstance that they were basically the same pairs. Complementary colors have hues that are opposite one another on the color wheel and have maximum contrast." -Jeff Davis
Dynamic Slice #202 by pxlq Series #1 Minted 12/12/2020 Artacle rarity rank #1
"The cyber colors are the only combination where the slices and background are similar shades, resulting in a peculiar dynamic movement distinct from the rest, where some appear to move backward - while in fact they all move forward. Not only is cyber one-of-a-kind, but it is truly visually distinct, and therefore special, from the rest." -pxlq

Elevated Deconstructions #158 by luxpris Series #1 Minted 12/21/2020
"The outputs to this composition are fairly abstract/ambiguous. I’ve seen them likened to scattered tea leaves, and sometimes think of them as esoteric techno-glyphs. In their simplicity I see complex technological forms: satellites, radar displays, astrological maps, etc. When I look at the Deconstructions I think a lot about the dissonance that arises from simplicity and complexity, primitivism and modernity, nothingness and being." -luxpris
Cryptoblots #219 by Daïm Aggott-Hönsch Series #1 Minted 12/12/2020 Artacle rarity rank #15/1921
Binary Cryptoblot with double rare colors of deft blue and beaver brown. "A unique and noteworthy specimen for both objective and subjective reasons, Cryptoblot 219 is a one-of-a-kind Beaver Brown and Delft Blue binary cryptoblot with a crustacean aesthetic. Subjectively, it is a mint that lends itself readily for imaginative pareidolic interpretation as a crab-like creature with an elegant blue mask or armour, faithful to the interpretive raison d'être of the project. Objectively, its colours are both quite rare, there being only 24 other Beaver Brown and only 7 other Delft Blue cryptoblots, and no others at all that share this specific palette combination. What's more, though on the face of it Delft Blue is this the rarer of the two colours, the Beaver Brown trait is arguably more unique
Singularity #253 by Hideki Tsukamoto Series #2 Minted 1/1/2021 Artacle rarity rank #18/1024
"While every NimBud is a unique snowflake, this one stands out from the crowd for a few reasons. The one-of-a-kind color scheme almost defies the parameters we set up. The random combination of expressions from angry brows, frowning mouth, and distraught eyes create a stark upset mood. This piece also has an exceptionally fast “blink” speed. When we added in the blink trait, we wanted it to have a delay long enough that it created a surprising moment for the viewer, who might assume it was a static image. PS. Don’t forget to click the image to put the NimBud back in it’s mint condition box." -Bryan Brinkman

Abstract and interesting Ringers example featuring the desirable recursive grid peg layout, bullseye peg style and off center-wrap orientation. "It's a recursive grid with bullseyes so it gives it a very bustling feel, the one thing that I think gives it its essence is that the point it uses to center the wrapping order is very off center, which causes those protrusions to stick out more than a balanced version would." -Dmitri Cherniak

"What I loved about making this was that you have emergent patterns and rarities coming from uniform random distribution. The colors and shapes are all equally possible, but in combination they create a unique work of art, like this piece. There's an equal chance of each pixel being any of 8 colors - primary combinations of RGB -- black & white (like mint #609) is so rare because it's effectively -- 1 in 4 per pixel (white or black out of 8 possible colors) -- so 4 combinations of 25% = 0.39% -- which is exactly how it worked out 4 out of 1024." -kai

The Double Spirals are both distinctive and desirable. Click on the art to see the spirals in motion. " Number 999 checks all the rarity boxes, a double spiral with a rare pattern and the rare B&W palette -- and also the final mint in the series. This pattern always made me think of an armored dragon tail. This piece really shines when animated as elements emerge from one spiral and then descend into the other. The Distortion animation (D key) for this pattern covers a lot of ground, transforming it from an organic look to a mechanical one and finally to a clean white spiral with fins. Definitely should be seen in full screen mode for maximum impact." -Radix
Aerial View #529 by daLenz Series #2 Minted March 30, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #30/1000
"Out of the 1000 aerial views #529 is one of the few "astronomical" styles. It's a combination of a high altitude and the golden light trails around the blocks. The goal of the output was, that you feel like you are watching with a telescope from outer space onto a tiny part of a city with illuminated roads. On the first sight, the blocks and buildings are in perfect order - no rotations, everything aligned. But on a closer look you can detect some imperfection with overlapping structures and even a missing block. A combination which makes #529 truly unique output. " -daLenz

Subscapes #573 by Matt DesLauriers Series #3 Minted April 23, 2021
"Subscapes #573 is one of the few "Summit" landscape types that emerged across the minted set of 650 tokens. In this mode, the generator compresses the noise frequencies into a single peak, with a flattened surround that evokes the feeling of a lonely mountain. This particular iteration uses blended colour, mixing reds, blues and greens based on the diffuse lighting of the model. The result is a chaotic and fiery energy, that exhibits some aspects of simultaneous contrast as the different hues compete with each other in such close proximity." -Matt DesLauriers
Watercolor Dreams #559 by NumbersInMotion Series #3 Minted April 30, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #17/600
"Mint #559 is a truly unique output and definitely one of my personal favorites. The color inversion brings so much energy to the mellow palette, and the bent movement adds a layer of chaos to the composition. The contrast between the brights highlights and the dark shadows is the cherry on top for me." -NumbersInMotion
AlgoRhythms #681 by Han x Nicolas Daniel Series #3 Minted May 14, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #62/1000
"Music, in its nature, can be explained in a set of rules ; notation for a meaning, numbers for a time, sound as a result. Programming, in its nature, can be explained in a set of rules ; functions for a meaning, numbers for a value, output as a result. Algo[Rhythms] collection is an exploration of musical scales with generative art and melody which gathers programming and music together. Algo[Rhythm] #681 is one of the four single note "G (sol)" pieces in collection. It has 4 equal subdivisions generated by procedural way and playing the G3 & G4 octaves which is a unique possibility to achieve. Using a sawtooth oscillator to produce the sounds of the tubes, it gives a sense of both melody and visual simplicity. Personally, it is one of my favorite combination since it gathers pretty hard possibilities together, and loving to see the game of generating something really simple yet complex at the same time. It exactly suits for my friend Von's taste and a good fit for his collection." -Han
Bubble Blobby #140 by Jason Ting Series #3 Minted May 21, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #3/500
“I spent a large chunk of my life in the Bay Area; the Golden Gate palette is a nod to the colors of the Golden Gate Bridge over the San Francisco Bay. Mints with the Chameleon trait are interesting because of how the colors phase through the palette–they evoke different feelings/thoughts at different points in time. In the "spacey" style, the points that make up the blob are scattered across a sphere with some additional random offsets, which gives it a look of smaller satellites orbiting around a larger mass." – Jason Ting

"Mint #290 combines color palettes 'Fog' and 'Propaganda' to create a unique, 1/1 palette titled 'Propaog'. The red patches of color from Propaganda dramatically contrast from the cool blues of Fog, adding some pop to an otherwise calm Dreams mint. 290 is also a perfect example of the trait 'Reality: Slipping'. Vertical stripes are ever so slightly distorted, as if your grip on reality is slipping. Stare at this Dreams for a while and you might start to see it move." -Joshua Bagley

Scribbled Boundaries #270 by William Tan Series #4 Minted Aug 17, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #2/1024
"Scribbled Boundaries is a project that highlights the simplicity and complexity of generative art. The chaotic movements of the scribbles may seem irregular and random, but if one looks from afar, one can see simple boundaries guiding it. The scribbles represent our thoughts, which may seem random at times, but it makes up our whole being as a human. Complex things may seem random, but they are actually simple if you look at it at a grander scale. This ‘Josef’ mode pays tribute to the work of Josef Albers (famously known for his Homage to the Square series)." -William Tan
Phase #762 Loren Bednar Series #4 Minted Aug 20, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #1/1024
"Such an awesome phase! One of the more entropic calamitous pieces in the series, it just goes all over the place. The journey palette is absolutely crushed into this lavender blend, random color chunks just collapsing and shifting around and with all that going on, it’s a double angular calamitous. I think the only one 🤔 But you wouldn’t even know it was a double because it~gestures wildly~." -Loren Bednar
Geometry Runners #378 by Rich Lord Series #4 Minted Aug 27, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #20/1000
"The single runners were intended to be the largest runners, and appear solid and powerful enough to do the race on their own without a team. So they are (almost) always large. Because they are large, their stride is larger, and therefore they look at first glance like they are moving slower. But this is usually not the case if you check the features. I wanted them to appear grandiose and almost statuesque." -Richard Lord
Trossets #300 by Anna Carreras Series #4 Minted Sept 3, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #18/1000
"The Trossets algorithm is based on Truchet tiles, but Trossets built it in an original way, it uses a lot of negative space for the building blocks, meaning that each block has a lot of background and not so many geometrical forms in the foreground. When the algorithm builds the image, the resulting structure and negative spaces lets the composition breathe. Trosset #300 is quite a rare one and at the
Skulptuur #263 by Piter Pasma Series #4 Minted Sept 27, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #40/1000
"A Skulptuur is a monument signifying any event, object, era or entity in either the past, future or parallel universes. The Catalog (Environ type of #263) is a causally unlinked meta-continuum / archive where Skulpturen exist without reference to anything. The target of significance remains fixed, yet unknowable. Skulptuur 263 is constructed from the intersection of a 3x2 grid of Y-discs (look like pairs of stacked cheese wheels), and a 3x4 grid of Y-donuts (upright donuts, slightly elongated). Both types of shapes are double-shelled, causing an intricate interference pattern in the intersection. The grids are also shifted vertically with respect to one another, creating even more variety in the resulting intersection shapes." -Piter Pasma
Edifice #625 by Ben Kovach Series #5 Minted Nov 8, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #83/976
"The first thing that strikes me (about mint #625) is that the colors are laid out in a vertical gradient, which accentuates the concave/convex divide in the middle of the piece because about half of the palette is that dark brown/almost black color. I also like that spot near the bottom left with the thin vertical strips, which counter the primarily horizontal, colorful ones nicely"- Ben Kovach

Autology #789 by steganon Series #5 Minted Nov 22, 2021 Artacle rarity rank #45/1024
"Autology 789 is an intriguing and beautiful Purple Ice palette symmetrical piece. Even though the Voronoi point formations plotted within the grid blocks are perfectly symmetrical on either side of the center line, the major glitch feature scaled and stretched the final polygon shapes differently. The resulting imbalance combined with the maze-like flow of color gives me a pleasant sense of unease as my eye is drawn around the canvas in search of where and how the symmetry diverges. The range of purple shades are striking against the black background and bring to mind a stained glass mosaic." -steganon
Bent #631 by ippsketch Series #5 Minted Nov 29/2021 Artacle rarity rank #17/1023
"Bent #631 combines two rare features. The Rainbow palette is extremely rare (this is 1 of only 7) and the Ribbon feature (1 of 33) ensures that each bended region has a black center line that gives makes this Bent look like an intertwined and overlapping collection of ribbons. Bent has a very wide variety of outputs, so this combination of rare features allows it to stand alone and unique within the collection of 1023 mints, immediately recognizable to itself and impossible to be confused with any other. The level of texture applied to this mint gives it a strong painterly effect and invites the viewer to look closer and explore the small details of each digital brushstroke. "Lines are bent and shaded. There are no wrong turns." -ippsketch
Gazers #439 by Matt Kane Series #5 Minted Dec 6, 2021
"The history of lunation design transformations for Gazers #439 exhibits a moon which has been as frequently subtle as it's been bold, exhibiting a good range of color variation throughout its short life. As a Minute Timer, we never need to wait long in order to see 439's full design reveal each month. Yet this moon counts down the seconds to something perhaps even more special than other Minute Timers. Its Origin Moon celebration of my third anniversary of my "First Record Sale," will presumably combine with the 🚀🌝 trait to deliver a dimensional 🎟️ to my much awaited series, "Voyage." Taking inspiration from the early films of illusionist Georges Méliès and based on a larger concept I've wished to explore for nearly 20 years, I am as much looking forward to what time will reveal as are the collectors of these rare 🚀 Gazers." -Matt Kane

Vortex #913 by Jen Stark Series #5 Minted Dec 13, 2022 Artacle rarity rank #6/1000
"I'd say Vortex #913 is one of the most rare in the collection because it combines not 1 but 2 rare traits: The striped colors AND the light at the end of the tunnel. The works in this collection with the property: Tunnel LIGHT are very rare. Only 20 Vortexes have this property (I have one as well #982). During coding we made sure to limit these to a select few because they felt the most special. Those are my favorite because they are a nod to my physical sculptures from years back. We worked for months, to try to emulate this whole body of work with "Vortex". I really love playing with the juxtaposition of B&W and rainbow colors in my work, and this nft has the best of both worlds." - Jen Stark

Chimera #623 by mpkoz Series #6 Minted Jan 10, 2022 Artacle rarity rank #20/987
Rare double skull, Scroll out to view more of the scene and see both skulls. “The most easily recognizable trait of #623 is the double skull. This had a likelihood of less than one percent, making it inherently special, but even more unusual to me is the stark symmetry of the skulls. One of the biggest problems I had when writing the Chimera algorithm was the placement of features in 3D around the bouquets. While planning the creation of Chimera, I vastly underestimated the task of rational object placement. I had to write an elementary collision detection algorithm that assisted in both eliminating overlap between objects and arranging them in a visually cohesive way. Due to the randomness and complexity of arranging objects in 3D without the ability to curate, I am always very proud of editions that display a human touch despite being procedurally arranged. #623 is an example of this, a composition that looks quite natural and visually logical. Every shape and object in Chimera is created by quadratic functions, and the skulls were by far the most difficult feature to define mathematically. Think about it, how would you go about modeling the surface of a concave, organic, and surprisingly complex object using only parametric equations? I gave up several times but kept coming back to the implementation of the skulls, as they impart a historically significant moment in the evolution of still life, the memento mori (“remember death”). This was a motif that gained in popularity throughout the 1600s and became a common feature of still life. As the name imparts, it was a direct reminder from the artist to the viewer that

Screens #543 by Thomas Lin Pedersen Series #6 Minted Jan 31, 2022 Artacle rarity rank #46/1000
"Screens #543 combines two very striking properties: The hero circle and the rose palette (and is the only rose hero in the collection). The rose palette was developed as an extension of the stencil palette and was inspired by Banksy's iconic street art that often mixes in a single accent color together with the monochrome. The palette name is a nod to Banksy's "Flower Thrower" piece. Of all the rose pieces in the collection I feel #543 is the one that mostly strongly aligns with my expectations as it uses the red quite sparingly allowing the monochrome palette a lot of space and increased power by the juxtaposition with the red" -Thomas Lin Pedersen
Para Bellum #943 By Matty Mariansky Series #6 Minted Feb 7, 2022 Artacle rarity rank #4/1000
"Initially, Para bellum was about a struggle between the language (the pseudo-words, reaching for the logic part of our brain) and emotions (the color fields). As I progressed along with building it, I found that a lot of time the algorithm produced Swiss design posters (the style also known as "The International Typographic Style") lead by some of my personal design heroes like Armin Hofmann and Josef Müller-Brockmann. When I realized that, I wanted to push the algorithm that way as well. For starters I moved away from the square frame to a more poster-like proportion. Second, I added some more typographic styles for the words, directly emulating the Swiss posters. This is not the main direction I was going for, so as you can see, they could turn out to be quite rare. Here we have a combination of "Fade Lines", where the line colors are from a gradient and "Stagger" where the lines are not aligned, but each line is pushed further to the side. Both commonly seen in this style of posters through the years" -Matty Mariansky

"To have a railroad and a treasure map makes this mint incredibly special and ultra-rare. I am also excited by the top-heavy river composition, giving all that extra space for the road networks to sprawl and connect the land to the water. The treasure must be well hidden: none of the infrastructure came close to the hidden location. I am imagining a rock outcrop on a small hill... climb to the top, circle around the largest boulder, and start digging." - Robert Hodgin

"This is a considerably rare and beautiful Sudfah for many reasons, one of which isn't even measured by the official features. The color (which is not included as a official feature) contains only one color which means that fuschia was chosen twice randomly. It also came out inverted AND with 3 spills! Most importantly, however, the line and blots form a very pleasing composition flowing from top left to bottom right in a way that feels like a landscape from a strange unknown world. Anticyclone #642 by William Mapan Series #7 Minted April 29, 2022 Artacle rarity rank #77/800
"Output #487 has a very singular and distinct directional movement. It is a 'free' composition with two geometry sources. The source in the background however is barely visible so all the sprays and bowties are radiating in a very unified way creating a strong compositional movement.
The three rows of bowties here are a good example of how each successive row elongates to create a sense of acceleration. With three row bowtie distribution there is a potential for a very dense cluster of this secondary primitive. However the bowties in this output are somewhat thinned out because of the 'hemeric' containment which replaces the color of elements that intersects the canvas boundary with a translucent background color. This in effect removes it and creates an over painted effect at the edges of the composition.
So, the net effect in 487 is that we have this very nice set of clearly defined bowties that create a lot of thrust towards the upper right corner." -Harvey Rayner
"Anticyclone #642 is an outstanding rare guide 1 by night.
The algorithm generated an interesting composition where the pressure leads to one focal point. While complex, the circular motion makes it easy and relaxing to read.
Color-wise, the "junko" palette is one of these singularities where by night, it completely changes the feeling of the piece. The result is a gorgeous Anticyclone shining through the dark." -William Mapan

"Mint #278 contains a strong vortex, a rare trait in the whole collection. My intention in introducing that feature was to distort the canvas and bend the colors to re-enforce the notion that the pieces are moving digital paintings. In combination with the "Dotted" layout, this piece showcases exceedingly well what I intended and invites the viewer to take the time to witness the ever-changing motion, both in the center, with the vortex, and the much more subtle changes at the edges." -Darien Brito
"Act #329 displays an interesting and unique combination: A rich purple palette thanks to the royal trait, and a unique full-canvas centrally biased dapple form. The "dapple" places strokes uniformly across the surface; however, not all aspects of this form are clearly defined by the token features. In uncommon cases like this, the density of strokes is elevated and each stroke points toward the centre of the canvas, creating a burst of painted strokes. Dramatic energy emerges, an exciting sense of movement through space as the dabs of paint layer and shift. The negative space here—slits of bright canvas—remind me of a jewelers lightbox draped by an eccentric collection of amethysts." -Kelly Milligan

"The 4:58 clock. The perfect one to tell you it’s time to get ready to get off work if you’re so inclined. A extremely readable 720 Minutes, from the strong pentagon shape, the shiny brightness and the unmissable donut that breaks the lines into two groups. Its clean aesthetic comes from the “Feeling Lucky?” palette (a kind of cyber-“punk” inspired color scheme) that is used in a Spiral way: four streaks of colors that play around the five corners of the shape. A never-ending pursuit of harmony that ticks and ticks…" -Alexis André
"Running Moon #335 has a perfect balance between curves and lines. It is one of the mints that have the "limited iteration" feature, where the expansion shapes (groups of curves named "Moonlit Tear") do not fully fill the image. The grid-like segmenting method (named "Pencil") adds an exciting sense of order to this piece. Coupled with the yellow-gray palette called "Dusk," this concentrated composition gives viewers abundant space for imagination: a growing city, a blooming flower, clouds in the sky, an idea spreading." -Licia He
"This particular piece is directly connected to the main visual inspiration for Entretiempos, that is, the works of Sonia Delaunay. This is the case for most of the “symphony” outputs, specially when the underlying rings are shown (which is the case here). I deliberately let the work choose among various palettes in a non-curated way, as I wanted the man-machine exploration to go further than what my human artistic capabilities would decide. It always comes with a higher risk to produce combinations that might be less pleasant… to a human. But creating art in a digital medium with the intervention of randomness seems to open a door to letting go of some conceptions we have about what constitutes an “acceptable result”. Perhaps odd combinations of, say, palettes are the result we need to aim for in this exploration. In the case of this particular output, the palettes chosen at random work interestingly. Perhaps they could’ve been more harmoniously combined, but I find very interesting the fact that I wouldn’t probably have come up with this colour distribution yet I profoundly like the final result. With the composition we have a similar situation. There is an underlying grid (curated, or human-chosen) but there is much randomness overlaid in the overall work. In the case of this output, I find a well balanced composition that creates just what I was after: areas of larger geometries to set the overall tone, a backdrop of rhythm where other layers of different scales (spatial scales, but that also exhibit a different time-scale when watching the piece in live mode) bring a metaphor of the various details that occur in our lives at scales different to those that we inhabit. Also, it is interesting to watch it paint live, as it has several layers that are completely covered by what is painted afterwards. Is the artwork the final result, or can it be taken as the first layers painted onto it? The side of the piece is also very interesting to me. Very different and minimal. This is an example of pushing the exploration of what originally was a tribute to the aesthetics of Delaunay into new territory by means of using the tools of computers and generative art. A different way to paint the ring-ring intersections that leads into a very different feel. Overall, I like the result very much and find many avenues for exploration in the piece using the interactive control." -Marcelo Soria-Rodríguez
life is not permanent; the flowers will die, the fruit will rot. It made the genre more critical and metaphorical, shifting still life away from technical exploration and practice and into discrete and important pieces of art. So the fact that there are two skulls in this piece, encapsulating it like bookends, arranged in a human way, make it particularly ominous. They both face the viewer and are very taunting in my opinion. The idea to incorporate skulls was actually given to me by my girlfriend. We were in Malta a couple years ago and saw the plethora of chiaroscuro masterpieces by Caravaggio that populate the island. He used memento mori extensively and I think made an impression on both of us, enough to pursue the motif algorithmically when it came time to create Chimera. In addition to the rare double skull, I also really enjoy the spectrum of objects this mint contains. Fruit, dish ware, wine, and a pipe, almost the entire feature list. These objects are either alive or provide a lust for life in some way. Perhaps the fruit is a metaphor for our goals and ambitions, the wine and pipe a metaphor for joy and celebration. Yet despite the variety of objects, the bright colors, the sun behind, the symmetric bouquet of roses, all are surrounded by death on both sides.” -mpkoz
due to being analogous to a misprint, because its frequency as the second-rarest shade of brown was meant to match that of Delft Blue, but is in fact erroneously greater than it should be by a bit over three times. All things considered, this rare crab warrior is definitely among my favourite cryptoblots and is unquestionably one of the conspicuous treasures of my early Art Blocks Curated series." -Daïm Aggott-Hönsch
mint is an “everything” which means that it has the rare (3% chance) feature that draws a variety of elements onto the composition. The “Pickup-sticks”, “Colored sprinkles”, “Black scribbles”, and “White sprinkles” elements are all expressed by the “everything” feature. This adds a bit of chaos to the image, but in a colorful and fun confetti sort of way. Genesis is one of the few Art Blocks projects that does not contain a single call to a random() function. But rather everything seen in the image composition is directly derived by interpreting each character of the hash string into positions, shapes, colors, and sizes. I considered this (and still do) to be the most exciting part of the whole project. " -DCA (DanDan)
"Looking closely into this HyperHash (mint #364) you can find some glimpses of the long forgotten rainbow road, the bridge between realms or some call the gateway to eternal bliss. Holding this HyperHash gives the very rare ability to spread the joyful vibrant energy it's emitting. An ability only a hand full of the strongest holders can obtain." -Beervangeer
Mint #93 is one of only 6 "incompletes" in the collection. "THE INCOMPLETES: These are inspired by Durer's engraving process where part of the work is still blank. They don't happen very often and if you spin them around you'll see that the missing primitives are still there, sort of, but incomplete in 3D." -Aranda\Lasch
"VonMises Art Blocks Vault collection boasts a striking and rare black background, punctuated by the dynamic flow of Synapses #680.This unique piece showcases a mesmerizing display of white threads, swirling and intertwining as they traverse the canvas. Unlike many other Synapses works, this one lacks any opposing reflection. The dark backdrop is gradually enveloped by the ethereal movement of the radiant threads." -Chaosconstruct
Elevated Deconstructions is the smallest drop in the entire Art Blocks Curated collection with only 200 mints. I was fortunate enough to mint 17!
Amazing and rare spiral Fidenza featuring soft shapes, uniform scale and luxe palette. This example ranked #2 in the first denza head to head match up ranking all Fidenza mints by eye appeal.
"Unigrids #62 features the rare and desirable Blue Amber palette. The inspiration for both Unigrids, as well as the Blue Amber palette originate from the very first NFT I minted, titled 'Everything is better with a bag of weed'. The Blue Amber palette took on further significance for me as it was the palette of choice while testing the Unigrids algorithm and became the officials colors of the project currently used as the Unigrids logo." -Zeblocks (Arsonic)
In the original metadata, the trait "Rare ETH Logo" appeared for about 15 Ignition mints. After an update by art blocks, it seems that this designation no longer appears. As a result most of the rarity data fails to capture this rare and desirable trait. Hopefully it gets fixed at some point. This is one of the rare eth logos. Click on the art to manipulate it, hold the mouse to turn on the lasers.
"Among the 'Soft' timbre mints in the Flux collection, #206 is one of the best examples of my creative intent to craft a calming experience where the audio and visuals are in harmony. Smooth gradients of fleshy pinks, warming yellows and greens full of life are carefully explored by the wandering algorithm. Flairs of light and shadow phase in and out of existence, bringing with them bright melodic resonance and muted breaths alike. It gives me the feeling of watching a sunrise, giving birth to a new day and a fresh outlook." -Owen Moore
"In Alan Ki Aankhen, I seek to transport viewers into a strange world - one where architecture is a blend of what we recognize as ancient and modern, where eyes bring cities to life, and where multiple moons can light up the sky. This mint, #191, channels that energy perfectly. To start, the scene is tinted with a rare green color, adding an eerie yet beautiful dimension to the world. The overall composition
same time it has a really cool visual balance and a nice equilibrium. It has a large verticality feeling with the figures on the left and right. Near the middle it breaks in smaller figures in the inner part in 2 points giving it a more complex and rich global shape and finally some floating dots in the exterior of the composition make it more subtle and not heavy. Incredible composition from an algorithm. " -Anna Carreras
“Raster #64 reveals a core intention of the project, which is to communicate the materiality of the pixel. The chunky resolution and banding that appears in this iteration directly mimics low-res graphics and effects producing a kind of mix between painterly textures and old-school screens. This iteration also feels like a color-study where patches of colors are placed next to each other to produce interesting contrasts and compliments.” -itsgalo
"The most essential element of CENTURY is the way the generated composition is cut and re-cut in different ways. For nearly all of them, the image is generated and sliced once before it’s seen. CENTURY #448 is one of the rare ones that is presented to the viewer before it’s altered. We see it — full of possibility, not knowing what will happen next. Because of this, I can focus on the other parts of CENTURY, the ways the ellipsis engage with the circle and the slow, rhythmic movement of the lines. I can settle into that experience as I anticipate the first cut. I love what I see after slicing it sixteen times, and I encourage you to keep slicing to find what works for you." -Casey REAS
"The staple component was intended to emphasize previous repair work, conveying resilience and the ability to overcome damage or dysfunction. Plus, it's one of only 11 bots with this feature, so it's pretty unique!" -Stina Jones
"The blended brush lends itself to an emergent painterly aesthetic that has become a signature Apparitions style. Although the artwork is made up of many discrete hard edge lines, the viewer experiences a smooth landscape, achieving the project's stated aim of 'exploring the space between algorithmic and organic'. Peaks and valleys rise and fall with shadow and color, the interplay of the South Beach palette's lights and darks tell a unique story amongst the series. This palette is used in Return and Within/Without to imbue a bright softness, but in #73 the dark hues underscore this softness with mysterious depth." -Aaron Penne
Every Singularity is unique, but some are an outstanding example of what I intended with the collection; 253 is certainly among those - A shining example of the high Symmetry outputs, #253 takes a smaller denser form due to its medium Force being paired with high Mass.
The 'Viridis' palette is a personal favourite of mine; selected for those outputs who's attributes occupy the extremities of the range. The addition of high intricacy, derived from an underlying 72% noise detail makes #253 among the finest in this colour set — Hideki Tsukamoto
