My reason that has no rhythm and keeps me moving in the direction unknowable. Everything I do and everywhere I go, you are there intoxicating.
Announcing the boundary stands a proud monument to industry deserving of its stature and grace.
It seems a simple thing to walk up to strategically organized rows of corn and capture the depth and beauty of their golden husks. Then suddenly sinking in to the soft mounds of deceptively dry earth the rows disappear onto the ground glass and you’re left to be satisfied gazing from afar.
Blue skies and wispy clouds mix with the still arid heat blowing dust up off the road from the heavy trucks rushing down the highway beyond the frontage road behind me.
I am drawn to the hive and its sweet honey, but the creature who works and buzzes by my ear gives me an unbelievable panic. I so wanted to drive right up to this structure and explore its secrets, but I could stand only as near as my car door and quickly conceal my self back inside.
Standing always on the verge of trespass hoping to capture the spirit of what I believe compelled me to exit the freeway and find a road to this place. Beckoning me to join another silent operation. *This image is stitched in Lightroom from two individual frames.
